Rhinos are not dangerous. No animal is dangerous, really, if you leave them alone. If you make them feel threatened, they will defend themselves. Dogs and cats are also dangerous to humans if they feel threatened. So are cattle, sheep, goats and other livestock. Yet if they all died out, you wouldn't be too far behind. You'd have to live on completely vegetarian diet. That would include, no milk, no jello, no anything that needs milk, no eggs, etc. No turkey or roast beef this Thanksgiving. Humans are much more dangerous to animals, since people kill for their own amusement. People even kill other people for that same reason.
And rhinos do play a very important role in their ecosystems. Since they eat plants, they help spread seeds, and also when they digest, their feces help richen the soil so new plants can grow. I wouldn't be too sure about mosquitos. I hate them and flies, as well as grape leaf skeletonizers, but insects not only help pollinate flowers to produce fruit, termites and others also break down waste, like feces and dead plants, which then provides nutrients for new ones.
Really, man's worst enemy is man. Unfortunately, man is also everyone's worst enemy/threat.

No, I don't think you are. After all, predators(not that you are one)horrify many people, but they play a great role in their environments. Besides those cattle and chicken are animals are raised precisely to be slaughtered. What's important there is that when they are alive, not mistreat them, and given them a quick death.
