Poachers and collectors of endangered animals are not only a threat to the animals but the people that try to protect them.

And sometimes people kill the animals just for evil.

If something horrid happened to the people that committed these atrocities,I wouldn't feel bad at all.In fact I hope they all come to a bad end.Especially the Iguana killer,I hope they fall off a cliff and are eaten alive by wild dogs.

Or eaten by iguanas.

I have to admit, it'd be pretty damn awesome to be the hunter to drop the hammer on the last of a species.

But think what it costs the rest of the world.

No, it wouldn't be and I don't see how anyone can view that as "awesome".

Animals deserve protection like humans do, and I know I'm a hypocrite when I say that, because I eat beef, fish and chicken (my body does not react well to supplements and I have food sensitivities). But seriously, people who kill endangered species are idiots, plain and simple. Humans have done more harm than good in the world I swear.

Poachers didn't kill him, according to USA Today, citing the conservatory. Rhinos are nonetheless dangerous to humans, and there is no real use for them, so I don't really care if they die out.

I just see it that everything is going to die out sooner or later (Darwin be the meanest dude in the damn forest, yo); making the choice to end the entire existence of a species has something to it.

It has a...godly feel to it.

I wouldn't do it unless it was necessary (I'd hate to be a "god"), but I wouldn't bemoan the person that did; they weren't obviously destined to thrive any longer.

(Yep, I'm totally cool with the Vorlons smacking this planet with their Planet Killer if they felt like it. Ants and giants and all that.)

Great whites and grizzly bears are also dangerous to humans; do you them to die out, too?

They're God's creations, and are remarkable, as is anything living.

We're all going to die, both as individuals, and, eventually, as a species. It's inevitable.

Hardly means we have to go gently into that good night without raging against the dying of the light. We don't have to be so damn fatalistic.

The mosquito isn't very useful either.

Rhinos are not dangerous. No animal is dangerous, really, if you leave them alone. If you make them feel threatened, they will defend themselves. Dogs and cats are also dangerous to humans if they feel threatened. So are cattle, sheep, goats and other livestock. Yet if they all died out, you wouldn't be too far behind. You'd have to live on completely vegetarian diet. That would include, no milk, no jello, no anything that needs milk, no eggs, etc. No turkey or roast beef this Thanksgiving. Humans are much more dangerous to animals, since people kill for their own amusement. People even kill other people for that same reason.

And rhinos do play a very important role in their ecosystems. Since they eat plants, they help spread seeds, and also when they digest, their feces help richen the soil so new plants can grow. I wouldn't be too sure about mosquitos. I hate them and flies, as well as grape leaf skeletonizers, but insects not only help pollinate flowers to produce fruit, termites and others also break down waste, like feces and dead plants, which then provides nutrients for new ones.

Really, man's worst enemy is man. Unfortunately, man is also everyone's worst enemy/threat.

No, I don't think you are. After all, predators(not that you are one)horrify many people, but they play a great role in their environments. Besides those cattle and chicken are animals are raised precisely to be slaughtered. What's important there is that when they are alive, not mistreat them, and given them a quick death.
