The dedicated varmint rig (though you could take deer/piggies with it if it's all you had) I got with the rest of the money (the antique revolver being the big hog of the lot); just need to take it to the range to sight it in. I think the point blank range for the thing is an absurd 250 yards, meaning the bullet won't travel any higher or lower than an inch and a half from the center of the crosshair if you set it to hit dead on at that range; that's as close to point and click as you can get.

H&R Handi Rifle in .22-250; tasco 3-9 scope and a Remington bipod I stole off one of my .22s. They had some black synthetic stocked ones, but nah, I like wooden stocks.

I got it 'cause I'm missing such; it's ironically the most practical firearm for this property -- everything is either too big, too small or too short ranged (shotgun) before this one.

They taste a bit resiny, but better than the ambergris burger.

I keep hearing sirens, way too many for a Thursday.

it's extremely irritating sometimes the way a dogs senses are so much more sensitive than ours.

how they can freak out and scream their snouts off at something and i cant figure out what the hell it is with my pathetic human senses.

Sounds like it would have been a good day to stay in bed

it certainly would have been, however there is no "stay in bed" button.

Wrong, Bureau, just wrong. There's rain and an approaching storm outside and it's not even forecast.

My new noise-cancelling headphones' sound quality is poorer than that of the older ones. How could that be? They are the improved version.

If you think that's bad, the new Discman I bought (brand: Denver) specifically has it mentioned on its packaging that it is built to prevent CD's from skipping caused by movement (-not unlike my previous Sony Discman-). Guess what? I take it for a test walk, and even at a normal walking pace, it regularly skips.

From now own, I'm sticking with Sony. I'm rarely happy with any other brand of electronics.

I spotted a feral kitten possibly 4-6 months old licking up raw eggs that someone dropped in a quiet spot of the supermarket car park tonight. I was buying cat food for my cat so put an opened sachet down for it to eat. It obviously prefers eggs as it didn't touch the cat food.

Yesterday an earplug got stuck in my ear and it took me about half an hour to finally get it out. In doing so, my finger kept rubbing the skin around my ear canal entrance. Now that area hurts as it seems that the raw flesh there is exposed.
