I would especially like the woman in the thumbnail to catcall me. She'd be able to jumpstart my interest in women again. She's pretty.

It does happen occasionally. I've had "m mmmms" and such like. Ive also been walking with girls who do the same thing. It's somewhat different I guess because in those instances the exclamations weren't a signalling mechanism. Men will catcall as a way to signal attraction whereas the women in the above cases were just being very demonstrative XD

I almost got killed in a mall!! Some low-life douch cat-called me - now, this was YEARS ago - but it still pisses me off . I felt insulted and belittled by it. I figured this guy thinks he's "higher" than me (I don't mean drugs). I gave him a really mean look and he freaked out and started screaming that he ought to bust my mf'n face. I see cat-calling strangers as a sociopathic behavior. I see the women who enjoy this as really stupid, wanna-be victims or sociopathic themselves. Yep.

Why is that called catcalling?

Either way that was ridiculous.

I'm not too-too sure but I'd imagine it has something to do with "Psshh,Psshh, here puddy cat" and every female being viewed as "catty"...not to mention what they call our pee-pee's. (Ya know)
