IS is digging their own grave. How many men have they sacrificed for that town on the Syrian border? Even if they took all of Iraq and Syria, they have no plan for peace, and everyone hates them, so it would be truly "open season" on them.

When the Shrub took office oil was $12, by now it should be $15-18.

The play was to block Iran and Iraq, jack up the price, just as China needed lots of oil to develop.

Round two saw Libya taken out of production. Syria also produced a bit, but blocking oil ran out of options.

Iraq was back in production, and the Kurds were selling at cut rate prices. The other Syrian terrorists were also finding markets for oil. Price was falling, so the Saudis funded ISIS, with the intent of taking it over, where the Americans would have to bomb it. The Arabians even joined in, sending planes to bomb other oil fields.

The main goal, stop ISIS from selling $3 Million a day in oil.

So who does that help? The Saudis, and the major oil companies.

The worldwide economic slowdown has reduced demand, prices are falling, other energy supplies are being developed, the Russian gas deal with China, which could take half the Chinese demand, for 40 years, as China develops it's own.

Russia has lots of reserves in the far east, very far from it's european markets, that a pipeline to China solves. Russia also has most of the Arctic to develop. Besides that, they are proving a huge field just north of the Black Sea, and the whole sea bottom seems like a prospect that could supply the world for fifty years.

We are not running out of oil, and spilling blood to raise the price is immoral.

Assad is running out of moderate terrorists to kill, and the recent training offer, could not find 5,000.
By the best counts, he has killed over 100,000, so ISIS and the FSA are just a mop up.

The local play is arm the Kurds, while keeping ISIS in check at both ends, so they kill each other.

Then an Iran to Syria pipeline brings endless oil and gas to southern Europe.

This is all about who will get to supply markets.

Ye is a second-person plural pronoun. Correct would have been, "Brilliant, thou noble troll!"

That was why Ben Ladin did 9-11: to draw the US into a ground war in a Muslim country. He got two countries for the price of one.

ISIS owes it whole existence to the US occupation of Iraq, and the deposing of Saddam Hussien. Is your plan to occupy the place again and create somethng even worse than ISIS?

We caused most of our problems because of our immorallity.
However, just because we caused a current evil (ISIS) does not mean that it is not evil and should not be destroyed. For example, would you argue that because we caused Hitler and Nazism (by blockades even after WW1 that caused mass German starvation and made the Germans receptive to a tyrant seeking revenge, same as Khomeni and our support for the Shah) we should not have declared war on Hitlerism?

So what is your solution, let them take over?

Ye is "the" and it is pounced like "the" not "ye". It only recently started to be pronounced how it looks.

So when you see "Ye Olde Pub" it is really "The Olde Pub".

The Y was actually a Norse thorn not a Y, and is equivalent to "th" it was Romanised to a y, becuase that was th closest equivalent to a thorn character if you look at the medieval scribal abbreviation Image or "þe"

Right, just like Viet Nam, or Afganistan.

People defending their homeland fight harder when you kill more.

Russia also left behind a government in Afganistan, I think they lasted about a month.

We have not won in Somalia, Yemen, Libya, and they all know we will leave.

ISIS does not have conventional targets, we are using $5 million dollar weapons on pickup trucks.

Hundreds have died, 10% of their force would be 3,000. More are joining than we are killing.

Wars are won by men on the ground with what they can carry.

Syria has air power, tanks, and have lost 70,000 ground troops.

The USA has spent over a billion, and killed hundreds, that is about $3 million per death.

How long can you keep that going?

But it is not the ISIS homeland. The majority of Arabs living there want ISIS out!

This is the ISIS homeland. They fought the infidel during the occupation, the Shia puppet government, the terrorists in Syria, and the Kurds. They are also at war with Al Kaida, and the Saudis.

They are Saddam's Bathists on the comeback trail. Syria gave them shelter, they do not attack Damascus. They are the home team, many returning from abroad, where their families fled.. They are the tribes of the area they took over.

They have cut the supply lines of the terrorists both along the Turkish border, and in the south where the Saudi's delivered through Jordan. They have driven them out of eastern Syria.

Mostly they have been pushing the Kurds back, away from lands they invaded under American occupation.

The attack on the western Kurds is drawing troops from the east, where the big fight is coming.

The Sunni terrorists of Syria backed by the Saudi's and western infidels, now have a choice, Assad, the moderate, or ISIS, and a strict Islamic State.

The Iraqi State controls most of the city limits of Bagdad.

Iran needs a pipeline deal with Damascus. Most of the right of way has been cleared..

The Turks do not want a Kurdish State in Iraq or Syria.

So your argument is that ISIS's actions are justified because they are former followers of Saddam and Saddam was popular? 8O

What inventor is saying is mostly erroneous, I don't 't know where to start.

ISIS is evil. There is nothing immoral about killing genocidal, rapist maniacs. The syllogisms say we must eliminate them for both moral reasons and our self interest. Sometimes those two reasons coincide!
Our current ISIS policy is like having a house full of cockroachs. We go in once a day and stomp on 10 or 20. That means we will always have a house full of cockroachs. The only logical solution is to go all in. And yes, that means boots on the ground.
* There were 32,479 traffic deaths in 2011

A crusade (By its true medieval meaning) would only cause more radical movements to ally with ISIS; making it even stronger.
Hence why Obama is making sure to form a coalition with Sunnite powers (KSA, Turkey, Egypt...etc) to strike Isis so it won't be perceived as crusade.

Basically the US will go as fast as Turkey (slow) and Arabs(slow) regarding the ISIS crisis.

When it get to the point that people who hate guns get so pissed that they go out and start buying guns in quantity, THEN you have a problem, for when it gets to the point that people who hate guns are buying guns in quantity, life is about to flip, because these are people who just dont give a s**t and dont care, about anything, these are people fighting to save America, as opposed to those loudmouthed militia right wing types who are trying to destroy America.

I don't think any non-genocidal rapist maniac would disagree. Neutron bombs are probably the most effective remedy.
