I had a favroite Great Grandmother who passed away 11 years ago at the age of 94. She was the most amazing woman. Every time that my family, aunt and cousins went to visit her and Grandma, she had a lot of interesting stories to tell us. She told us about her Childhood in Buffalo, New York, and she told us about her first Babysitting job, where she got payed 25 cents for the whole five hours that she looked after three kids under the age of 4 and changed their diapers. She was also good at looking through the TV Guide for Kids' Movies that might be on TV, so we never got bored.
I would also remember the Family Dog that my Dad got us, just three days before my 6th Birthday. She was a cute, little white Malti-Poo, and her name was Taffy. I spent a lot of time with Taffy, before I started Highschool. I pat her and snuggled with her. She was a very mellow Dog. And the only time that she ate was when we filled filled her bowl up, at dinnertime. She wasn't into treats, or toys, though she did enjoy a game of Fetch. She passed away at the age of 14 in People Years. I miss Taffy. I still have dreams about her. |

My mother was the most wonderful person. She's been gone now for 20+ years. I wish my children had had the chance to meet her. She would have loved them.

I idolized my maternal grandfather. He was and is everything I think a man should be. I really wish I got to know him better, but he started having alzhimners as I came of age and died two years ago. In my eyes he was a great man. _________________ All your bass are belong to us. |

My sister recently lost one of her pet basset hounds to a fast-growing cancer. She and her husband decided it would be best to put him to sleep (read: euthanise him). _________________ GEORGE CARLIN
