You're not wrong, Ghosthunter.
A = +80%
B = +60%
C = +50%
D = Somewhere below 50%
F = Really really small.

I'm sorry. I meant to say anything above an F is passing. I must have been in a hurry when I typed that one reply to this thread.

Danlo, when curriculum council sent you a letter, did they specifically say that if your grades differ in your exams to you normal school grades they would scale it accordingly? Because my doctor mentioned that in her letter and curriculum council has said I get half an hour extra and sit my exams elsewhere, but nothing about that. I'm still worrying what I'm going to do with my extra 30 minutes because I've never done an exam with extra time Confused

I have difficulty with critical thinking exams and distracting environments. Or also if I don't know the material well enough. But for those tests which rely mainly on rote memorization and I have studied, I find I have little to no difficulties.

When I took the PSATs, I did horribly on those parts which heavily relied on reading comprehension. I noticed every little squeak of the chairs and every pencil erasing...

But I can't seem to read anywhere but my own apartment. I get too distracted by noises and unfamiliar environments. I've learned these days to not even try.

Of course with the PSATs I didn't have much choice. Even if I had accomodations and had been in a room by myself, I would have found something else distracting no doubt.

I'll check my files for you, Astarael. Iirc, its an application for extraordinary circumstances, which is separate to special exam conditions. You put in the application after the exams, not beforehand. I can't remember the exact name, but it was the same as the application you put in, say, if you got a severe cold during exams and would therefore have done crappily. Or, say, if a family member died during exam time, and you might have done crappily because of that, etc. And then my application was that my special circumstances was because of my autism. I will check just to make sure though, but its late, so tomorrow night.
