The woman in the first link wasn't that big. I'm attracted to chubby but not obese girls, and tbh, that woman just looked curvy, about a size 14. Chubby girls look great in swimsuits.

I have a swim dress that even when I was a size 22 (about 120 pounds over my ideal weight) I looked adorable in. Of course, I tend to be adorable no matter what size I am. I don't exactly suffer from low self esteem though...
It has a halter top and that top actually worked surprisingly well. And yes, I've fallen out of swimsuits in the past that weren't adequate. I'm a busty girl. And I'm a perfect hourglass (with some extra padding here and there to keep it interesting).
Now that I'm losing weight I've got a bunch of loose skin and I'd actually look to cover up more these days. My upper arms just look kind of gross, but you know, whatching this process is rather fascinating for me (I'm in a size 18 now, down 55 pounds and I'm not going to get smaller than a 12 because I've got some big bones).
I imagine I would look for a surf top for myself, with spanx type control panels, naturally. And some shorts that go down to my knees. Like surfing type stuff. And a cute cover up.
And yes the skirts on swim dresses do float up, at least in hot tubs. |

I might add that the girl I showed as an example of my proportions is a good deal tighter than I am, what with the skin and the flab and what all. And after the suit came in the mail, after all the fuss, what should I realize but that there's a wrinkle unaccounted for...
I have two shades of skin! There's the nice white healthy stuff underneath and the red, freckly damaged stuff outside like. And it is in the shape of a v-neck t-shirt. Liquid tanning would not fix it... That stuff has very little effect on me, and the color would be wrong.
So after all the fuss, I'll need some sort of shirt on top... meh.
On the bright side, it's comfy and only cost me about $40 total, which is pretty good these days. I mean, if I'd had $150 to spend I'd have had much more to pick from.
I hate shopping. I get obsessed with the chase and in the end the reward is just some scrap of cloth I'm going to wear out. "Getting and spending, we lay waste our powers..." _________________ "Pack up my head, I'm goin' to Paris!" - P.W. |

| Very cute suit, description says "soft bra", so the support would be minimal. Something with underwire would be my choice though. |

| I like the one pictured. its cute and playful... dont know if the soft cups would do it or not, but they really help and no one can see through it with that |

| I always likes the swimsuits with the skirts, even when I was little. They remind me of ice skating dresses. I just stick with tankinis now, even though my religion is against two-piece suits. The tankinis just seem to cover more and with safety pins, they don't float up. I like all of your suggestions for swimwear. My grandmother swims in old real clothes because she is ashamed of how she looks. I think she is way more conspicuous swimming in regular clothes than in a swimsuit or swim clothes of any kind. I liked all the swimsuits on those links, they look fantastic. |
