Personally...I can do one at my best. I am pathetic at them.
I try and try and still can only do one.
Males naturally have more upper-body strength which is unfair Twisted Evil

So...how many can you do?

I do 30 a day (sometimes morning & night) just to keep fit. I use those special handle gizmos as I have old injuries to my wrists. I do the backwards ones on the side of the tub or a chair too. It's something you have to work at, you can't start out with the ability to do 200. Don't be hard on yourself, just keep practicing, you'll get there.

Press-up? I think I did one of those back in high school. Didn't like it though, so have never felt the urge to do another one.

I can only do five. However, I can lift objects that weigh up to 60 lbs, repeatedly.

i dont know... i never trained them to failure and it massively depends on my current training regime, as i found out. i guess ill be able to put out 30 or a few more anytime, as thats my usual starting point (when i train them, which isnt very often).

also, it depends on what kind of pushups we are talking: hand positioning, down to the floor or only til the elbows have a 90° angle - if down to the floor, let go of tension inbetween or not...

I set the army record for pushups in 2 minutes. I did 214 in 2 min 2 years ago. I guess a "press-up" is another word for a pushup. Physical Fitness is sortof my obsession.

I also do 50 pullups off the bar in one effort

I might be able to do a couple, if I ever worked up the interest.

30 regular press-ups, and 6 pullups. Its taken me 10 years to get above 1.

I don't even know what a press up is.

In high school I did 200 push ups a day for no apparent reason.

Does that count?

Are press ups the same as pushups? I once did 70 in a minute to prove that I could, I doubt that I could do that at the moment, though.

Its been a while but last time I did any kind of "ups" I could go on for as long as I wanted without tiring. Strange because of how thin I am.

I've never really tested myself but during my kickboxing training a few months ago i managed 32 in 30 seconds, all with good form. I'm in much better shape now then I was then so if I went to failure then it's probably somewhere in the 50's at a guess, hopefully even higher.

50 is if I starve all day that is so I'm lighter
