I don't like metal all that much...well, most types, but I love doom and dark ambient such as Sunn O))) and Boris.

Just a musical prostitute, not a metalhead.

I am kinda surprised at the number of metalheads here-- but in a good way

my all time favourites would have to be ::::

blind guardian, there has not been one b.g album i have disliked. the vocals are amazing!
agalloch-- kind of doom/progressive.. its hard to explain their music-, quite unique. but the sound is so neutral, i absolutely love it (no one else seems to though)
children of bodom, i prefer the older cd's, but do not dislike the newer ones. alexi would have to be one of the best modern-day guitarists..
Metallica-- need i say more???? (apart from i hope their next cd is more like the earlier ones)
nightwish, sadly enough, i am a fan who thinks the band has lost it's touch. if it was only the vocals that changed, i could possibly handle it, but the actual music that i loved them for soo much before has changed. the old cd's rock.

but then sometimes i prefer listening to gorguts, pathogen, mayhem, necrophagist and vomitory..

****** damn i forgot to put slayer in there.. well them too..++++ dream theatre --No-ones mentioned them yet... Confused

METTALLL!! \m/

God damn right, Nile is my second favorite band!
Hasn't anyone mentioned Behemoth or Nevermore yet?
Like 2 of the most talented bands in history right there.

Recently discovered In Flames, and I love them so far. Kinda odd how them and Soilwork are on the same record
company. Smile Looks like In Flames might become my new favourite band now.
