Schizoid personality disorder- I realized I differed from other people in some way from around age 12, became conscious of my lack of affect shortly after turning 15, arrived at the conclusion that I was almost certainly schizoid at age 16, and decided to seek a formal diagnosis and treatment at age 20.

EDIT: Oops, this is the teen forum. Oh well, I'm only six months off.

ADD/ADHD at four, which was overturned at eleven.

Near-sightedness at six or seven.

AS at eleven.

Depression at eleven (although I largely fought that one off with the help of some medication by the time I turned thirteen).

I've never been diagnosed, but I'm very certain I have Aspereger's Syndrome after I happened to come upon the term in random reading online and researched up on it.

I'm 22 now, and I was just diagnosed last year. My parents sent me to a ton of psychologists beforehand before anyone came to a decision, though: I had seen a school therapist for "play therapy" at as young as seven.

I was diagnosed with some form of autism by 2 or 3, and I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome by age 9.

I was diagnosed in the winter of two years ago.
There were a three year waiting list, which I had signed up for, but when it came my time, they said I wasn't on it, so my mom gave them a real fit about it and they let me slip through the cracks.
Went on to get the diagnose "Classical Aspergers Syndrome", and suddenly, I had the biggest feeling of relief I've had in my entire life.

Some friends told me that they also got results for IQ and other interesting things.
I'm going to call them back one of these days to try to get the full report.
But, since I've got AS... Rolling Eyes

wow....quite a bunch of screwd up people i see. didnt expect so many multi-diagnosed.

well i...dysthimic disorder'd been mentioned when i was like 11, but i dont know if it was made official.

at 13 i had add, turned into asperger at 14,
but i didnt totally meet the criteria, and they tested and sh**, and i still dont even know exactly when what how or why they changed the diagnose again and again.

but to my knowledge it then went to classical, then back to asperger, and then to pdd-nos, but they never told anyone that so i only found that out years later.
and its still not completely....well i dont buy it.

last year i went back in therapy and they wannet to give me all sorts of diagnoses, such as add and paranoid, scizoid and avoident personality. but they decided to label me unlabelable

then i came up with dissociative disorder, which i have one of for sure. and i must have some chronical depression disorder, though im not that anymore, presumably.

so officially only pdd-nos, but in reality a whole bunch more. like i have a mental disorder not otherwise specified.
