There is an amazing thing going on right now in France.
A man - and his team - is running 1 000 km in less than 12 days for the cause of the autistic children and teenagers.
He wants them to be educated and kept in schools.
I you want to send him your best wishes and encouragements, they're welcome!
I think you can write them in many languages since some teachers are involved too (and they will be able to translate to him).
It's all in French but if you're interested, here are 2 links:
Milkil blog (with pictures in it)
With a map
That means running 2 marathons per day, day after day, during 12 days! |

| I must admit that some of my fellow countrymen are some kind of crazy: the other day, one who did the mini Milkil, which is 200 km long, run it in 26 hours - without any sleep. |

Harken unto the fate of Phiedipiddes.
He ran 240 km (150 miles) in two days. He then ran the 40 km (25 miles) from the battlefield near the town of Marathon to Athens to announce the Greek victory over Persia in the Battle of Marathon (490 BC) with the word "Νενικήκαμεν" (Nenikékamen, 'We have won') and collapsed and died on the spot because of exhaustion.

Still running
They were 19 at the beginning, they are 9 left.
Fresh news, still in French (sorry):
He runs, he runs for the autistic children
There is another fool, a gardener, who does it all by himself, with no help from nobody: hats off to Frédéric Gallais! |
