First off, let's start with a date. These things take a bit of time to organise so I suggest a time in early November, preferably a weekend
How about 1st of November?
Next thing to think about - location. I think somewhere in Brisneyland would be most central.
Perhaps I should start a new thread? |
Yeah, maybe we can look at starting a meetup thread for Brisbane peoples. It may be the most logical way to do things.
What we really need maybe (if the mods are watching and we ask really nicely pretty please with sugar on top) is a sub-forum for Australia or maybe sticky the meetup thread.
Then maybe think about what we would hope to achieve out of a meetup, just being social? Support? Or just because we can?

It's too far for me to travel (I'm in Sydney) but they've apparently had a successful meetup already. So, if you're in the approximate area and if you're interested in meeting some other aspies, have a look.

I'll have to try to keep this thread near the top by frequent postings. |
I will sticky it for you, DavidF

I'm in Northern NSW. I'm new here this is my first post.
BTW I was at an aspie convention in Brisbane on August 9 and there was a lady giving a talk called Camilla, she said she belongs to this forum? Just wanted to say I enjoyed your talk very much! |

I'm actually living on a small property in north-east Victoria.....so I guess it will be almost impossible to find another Aspie near by. |

Hey Dancyclancy,
I too am fretting - a little- at not having another adult aspie to meet up with. It's the like -meet like factor. |
