The only ones I can think of are Yuri Chika - I Cry, Cascada - What hurts the most (sorta), Basshunter - Now you're gone and they're not at all that sad.

This last one is more peaceful than sad. It's by Hayley Westenra and its called Prayer. The opening dialog and all of the video is composed of cutscenes from my favorite video game Advent Rising.

Chad Vangaalen - Willow Tree,

he's obsessed with death but the songs are strangely uplifting and beautiful.

Wow I love this song but my preferred version is by Jeff Buckley

I also love "Unloved" by Jann Arden

Amen to that. I absolutely love Jeff Buckley, one of my favorite singers.
"Lover You Should've Come Over" is probably my favorite song by him
some other songs I like would be:
Constant Knot, or Like Knives by City And Colour
Song To The Siren, or Once I Was by Tim Buckley (Jeffs dad)
Joga Covered by Ben Gibbard and Ben Barnett
His Hands Matched His Tongue by The Dear Hunter
Kissing You by Des'ree (from the Romeo & Juliette sdtk)

I could go on for days lol

The first song is Tristan, and while I do like that song, the second half of the video, Sanvean, is mind-blowing and filled with lament. Lisa Gerrard is beyond words. The climax of Sanvean (4:21) made me feel like someone else could understand the way I feel.

If you've never heard the album Towards the Within or at least haven't watched DCD play it, I highly reccommend viewing this video:
