| I wondered if it was WP or my computer. I had spyware one time that did that to every website I visited, but I couldn't find anything that looked like spyware this time. I was gonna ask if anyone else here was seeing it... |

Actually, it's very annoying.
Why were the ads installed in the first place? It's a forum, that's not supposed to happen, is it? They're taking our words and putting them into other people's mouths. That sucks.

| I was really offended just now - I was reading a post where somebody is feeling suicidal, and at least two of his words in his post were green/ads. There's something wrong with that. I'm out of here till this is gone. |

| All of these ads are really irritating. It's gone too far in my opinion. WP is supposed to be about the members, not the ads. It needs to stop. |

I don't see what the big deal is. I've been *very* helpful in listening to suggestions and complaints. What makes you think I won't do so about intellitext?
Something has to pay the bills. If you ran a site this size you'd realize how expensive it is to do so. I'm more than willing to remove ads that people find offensive. I'm really upset that people would be so quick to walk out the door without even listening to me. |

I hope too many people don't leave, I think it really just didn't occur to Alex that it would annoy people that much. I agree that they are intrusive, but as he said he's listened to people before and thats why 90% of the lewd ads are gone now.
