Any one watching?

I've been kind of getting into American Football in the last few months. I do find it quite stop-start but it's kind of like an odd mixture of chess and opera with huge guys.

I'm going for the Colts.

Never was a big fan, but I started watching this year. I have been following the Saints, and while I know it is a long shot, I am hoping they win. Smile

I have always liked The Who, they have some rocking songs.

I thought they sounded a bit off though. Was Daltrey's scream pre-recorded? He sounded like he had a bit of laringitis or something.

Bruce Springsteen did a good show. I'd like to see AC/DC have a go.

As for the game, first half a bit so-so. Saints have somehow come back into it. If the colts fire up this quarter, it's theirs.

What a heck of a game it was, congrats to the New Orleans Saints. You couldn't ask for a better team to win.

This was an exciting game, although not quite as exciting as the last two Super Bowls. I'm glad the Saints won, especially since that makes five Super Bowls in a row I've picked right! Very Happy

I especially enjoyed this game because it was a TRUE Super Bowl, with the number one and two teams in the NFL facing each other. I don't care for "Cinderella" games where some team with a mediochre season record hits good luck with wild card and so forth.
BTW, I noticed that Drew Bree's son was wearing earmuffs after the game in the same fashion that a number of autistic children do in noisy situations. Hmmm. I guess I'm a little more lucky than him as I just simply turn down (or even turn off) my hearing aids when bothered by loud noise.
As for the commercial spots, my favourite was the Simpson Coke ad as I'm a big fan of Nelson Muntz and Martin Prince who were seen enjoying a fun play time on a swingset around halfway through it.
