Hey
Who here has NT siblings?
I have two an older sister whos 29 and getting married and an older brother whos 30 and getting married this month.

I have one full brother age 29, one half sister age 27, and 3 half brothers ages 16, 13, and 12.
All are NTs although to be honest, some of them show various aspie like traits (but not enough for a full diagnosis).

Just wondering do they know your and aspie and if so how did they or do they react.
My sis I swear I've tried to tell her that i don't do good in social situations but she still wants me to meet her friends and keeps asking if I have a boyfriend
My brother on the other hand doesn't seem to react at all I can tell him anything he's the best and when we visit he doesn't mind that I'll probally talk to his dog more then i'm going to talk to him his fiance or our parents. However he does show aspie traits so that may be part of the understanding.
my sibs are both half but you wouldn't really know it

| Both my siblings are NT - though my brother has tics and is a science fiction fan. My late sister was what I call a social savant - she and her 800 closest friends. |

NT = Neurotypical.
I have one younger brother, who is 12. He's an NT, and he doesn't know of my diagnosis, but if he did, he wouldn't care. |

To be honest, all my siblings know about my diagnosis, however my full brother does not believe it and treats me like crap. The others know, believe it, and are fine with it.

All five of my younger siblings are NT...it made for GREAT fun growing up, being the oldest, being "abnormal," being completely invalidated because no one knew what was wrong until I went to college. Well, okay, it was fun growing up despite all the crap. (I wouldn't trade it for anything except maybe I little more respect.)

I have six siblings. 4 brothers and 2 sisters. I'm the middle and male. They all know I'm autistic. We used to treat each other like crap, but not anymore. Two sisters are 28 and 23. Brothers are 25, 19, 17, 17.

I've got kinda lucky I in away grew up as an only child cause my sibs lived with their mom and I didn't see 'em that much I was fairly close to my sister until I was about 6 or 7 and grew a mind of my own. and I could pretty much count on one hand how many times I saw my brother until I was thirteen and he moved closer and now I see him more and we're closer. I got lucky with my sibs though even though one is a yuppie one isn't and he's pretty cool. treats me equal.

| my 19 y/o sister is NT. she's actually known i'm an aspie longer than i have. we get along pretty well, but the only problem is that she and my parents think i'm misguided so they all try to gang up on me when i'm just trying to express myself. my sister said that they're using her to get to understand me better b/c i talk to her more, but now i feel like i don't want to talk to her if she's gonna tell them everything i say. i love her but it's really annoying |

I am a middle child of 3.
Older brother is fine, safe to say he's NT.
Little brother is evil. He is the total opposite of me. Has ADHD. Makes this house not worth living in.  |
