Wow, I'm a textbook case too. I, especially, liked that they included the part about balancing male/female roles or thinking of oneself as both in a way. And the part about comfortable clothing and not doing "girly" things with other women.
It's strange, I used to think that a lot of those things were accounted for by my being a lesbian. But in the past few years, and my one and only experience with a relationship, I'm beginning to rethink things. I think it has a lot more to do with my sensory issues than I thought it did. _________________ Have Diagnosis: ADHD, PTSD, and Schizotypal Personality Disorder, Motor Apraxia. | I'm currently waiting to see a community psychiatric nurse to start off a diagnosis process as both myself and my doctor think I likely have Aspergers. I have printed out the four column list because very few of the descriptions are not me to a tee. |

| Wow... this really illustrates it. I think this will be very helpful if I have to try to explain to somebody (common response: don't be silly, there's nothing "wrong" with you, you're just (insert insufficient explanation)... when I didn't say anything was wrong with me I was just trying to explain why I act differently). I think just about everything applies. Except I do like to shop with a friend, I can really get hung up on decisions when alone (plus they help me not get as lost). And, everybody has always thought I looked much older than my age, not younger. I don't think of myself as half male but my thinking tends to be more "male" in many ways. |
