I recently came across a debate where people were discussing whether or not Bob Dylan has a form of mild autism. If you know much about Bob Dylan, you'd know hes a very eccentric character. A lot of the debate was centered around this video (among other clips, but this was the one I found on Youtube):

Um...yeah, I think it's rather apparent he was on some kind of drug(s), but aside from that, would you guess he might be on the spectrum? He's finding patterns with the words and forming new statements with them very rapidly and getting noticeably very, very excited about this. And, Bob has always struck me as having a strange way of speech. Also, if you watch some of his press conferences and interviews he always seems very detached (except for periods where he is noticably drugged up...say 1966?).

Im sure that that isn't enough information to make much of an educated guess. I suppose Im looking for someone who knows a bit about Dylan, too. I was just interested in this. I love the man and see a lot of myself in his quirky-ness Smile

I wouldn't be surprised but Bob is a very private man. He would never reveal if he has it or not. Bob was always very shy as a kid. His first public performance at his High School Talent Show was a shock and exciting moment for his classmates due to Bob's quiet nature. Bob has many traits associated with Asperger's but he would never admit that he has it.
