What a marathon, Ive got the third - yes THIRD stage of an interview soon. My recruitment consultant just told me I will be speaking with the managing director and it will be a fairly relaxed interview. The purpose of this stage is to see if I will fit into the company, and how I am as a person.
Just as I was getting used to normal interviews, I get this. I cant help but feel this is getting into NT territory, i have the feeling this is more a chat than an interview which means its going to be pretty unstructured
Any have experience with this type ? |

Goodness! They are really putting you though the ringer here!
No, I don't have experience here but you are probably right about it being more of a chat. Cripes!
Have you thought up some questions to ask HIM about the company/agency?

It is a good sign, really, that they are very interested in you, Jonny. In some companies, one person interviews you to see if you are suitable for the job. Obviously you passed that test. Then everyone who might work with you has to meet you to see if they have any strong objections to hiring you. It is pretty clear that the first interviewer thought you were suitable, but he probably has to get approval to hire you from this managing director.
Another thing they might do is take you out to lunch with several employees at once. If they do, don't order very messy food, take small bites and don't chew with your mouth open or talk with food in your mouth. You probably already know all this stuff, but I will leave it in case someone else who might read this does not. _________________ Whoever undertakes to set himself up as a judge of Truth and Knowledge is shipwrecked by the laughter of the gods. - Albert Einstein |

It turned out to be fine. It was structured yet unstructured. The guy was really nice and he had his list of questions to ask me. But it felt really relaxed, so it was kinda like a chat but wasnt as freeform so my answers were kinda already prepared.
Aspen you were right, it was just to see how i fit into the company. But it didnt involve lunch and im glad it didnt.
BeeBee, yep had a few questions up my sleeve, and just kept asking stuff all the way through.
Anyway after a gruelling interview process, I was offered the job ! I am really happy, and quite proud of myself that i got through |
