You know, i would prefer it if every world cup we participate in, we are ranked outsiders rather than being one of the favourites

This is a stupid question, because I am not a very expert fan, but... I thought Ronaldo was Brasilian... Do Portugal have another Ronaldo, with the same name?

Yep, he's the pretty-boy who bursts into tears at every opportunity. For example, when Greece beat them to win the trophy at their own tournament Very Happy

He got a nasty kick to the thigh in the last game that he'll hopefully need a week or two to recover from. Unlucky for him, but potentially great news for England.

A very useful piece of advice for an Englishman: never trust an Argie. Wink

France vs. Italy. I cannot believe we have a matchup of two of the worst military countries in the history of mankind(cue large Italian response of drive by shootings, French response of surrender, and politically correct response of me reenforcing stereotypes).

Um, I guess that was funny, but what does military style really have to do with futbol style?

(intended as a rhetorical question, but if it /does/ have something to do with it, at least I will learn something!)
