That looks really exciting! Hard to believe I was only in the 4th grade when the first movie came out. |

In the 50's people like George Lucas and my father (no they weren't friends) would go to the Cineplex every Saturday to watch serials as kids. Each serial would end on some sort of cliffhanger ending. Stuff like Flash Gordon and whatnot. Not since the 50's has there been a generation who's been inundated with more serials than those born in the last decade or so. Lord of the Rings, Spiderman and so forth. But I think the best of them all has to be Harry Potter. Most of you were young, and the movie's complexity has grown as you have! Until you're ready for the final confrontation. _________________ January issues of the

See, this is why I think David Yates has been so underrated. I've read the books. I KNOW what's going to happen and when. But he takes that event visually and puts it on its ear, giving me something I didn't expect. This movie? He's outdone himself. And watching this I can't help but think this was the producers way of saying "SUCK IT TWILIGHT!" _________________ OH GOODIE! - Three Chords in Three Panels

Or their way of saying, "Thank you fans for sticking things out even when the films were haphazard. We're making the final film a 2-parter for you guys: the fans and those who enjoy the films! It is our way of giving the series the epic send off it needs." _________________ January issues of the

I love how they cleaned the blood off Emma Watson's hands for the trailer. Looking forward to the movie version.
Also, Voldemort's costuming is totally stolen from Nosferatu (with maybe a little Dark City thrown in). |

I've read books one through six. I'm currently reading book seven (about 28% through). _________________ January issues of the

Shame you never got to experience getting the book on the day it came out and finishing it on the exact same day. It really was one of the best days of my life. I got books 5, 6 and 7 on opening day.
Anyway, the trailer looks awesome, I'm considering seeing the movie on opening night, even though I usually hate watching films with other people in the cinema. I can't wait for it though, well, I can because there's no choice, but I'd prefer not to wait, given the choice. |
