Just wondering about opinions on bras & going braless from females who are not my mothers . I'd prefer female responses to male just b/c I get enough stupid boob related comments while at school.
Personally, I don't like seeing nipples but don't think its anything like a sin. Also, I've read a lot of stuff saying bralessness is healthier. This makes sense b/c women didn't wear bras far back in the past. I'm kinda lucky cause I think I can get away w/o a bra (if certain people aren't around) and don't really care what people think of me. (But ironically I like to avoid any kind of attention) I've noticed certain cultures are more relaxed about bras/bralessness but think I'm stuck in ultra-conservativie boob crazed land... But I'm definitely pro-bra for work. _________________ Balance is needed within the universe, can be demonstrated in most/all concepts/things. Black/White, Good/Evil, etc.

I would love not to have to wear a bra, but I feel very uncomfortable without one. Also, I have always hated the feel of a top rubbing against my nipples, which a bra prevents. It does annoy me, though, how men can just walk about topless if they want, and women for some reason aren't allowed to.
Having said that, I have noticed that the breasts of women from indigenous tribes - African, South American - always seem very saggy and flat in photographs, which is presumably because they don't wear bras. I wouldn't want mine to look like that, which would be another reason to wear a bra, if there weren't already enough.
I would just say to do whatever you're comfortable doing, and ignore sleazy comments from such people as are prone to giving them. _________________

| keep in mind that they generally have numerous offspring and nurse them which can have a sagging and slightly flattening effect. I dislike bras as I have sensory issues and texture issues. Frankly I go around most of the time without. |

| I don't need one for support but if I don't wear one just the fact that I'm not is enough to draw a look or a comment. I hate the beastly things, especially in hot humid weather. I think what's said about preventing/delaying sagging is true though. |

| I sometimes go without wearing one outside work hours, but maybe I'm just oblivious if it draws people's attention. I wear a few layers of tight clothing usually so that flattens and disguises the fact that I'm not most of the time. It's easy to get away with in wintertime when I'm wearing a baggy hoodie or something. |

I cannot stand bras. They drive me nuts. I wear one when I have to... maybe to exercise around other people so as not to be obnoxious. I would also wear one if I had someplace formal to go to or if my shirt was something near see through and I had to leave the house for something. Beyond that, nah... to hell with 'em. _________________ "...don't ask me why it's just the nature of my groove..." |

I go braless when I'm at home; force of habit, though, I wear one when in public, otherwise I just feel too damn weird, like the neighborhood pervert is going to appear while I'm walking with my dog. _________________ Death before dishonor, NOTHING before coffee |

For a very long time, I went without a bra 95% of the time or more. I have small enough breasts not to need the support for comfort, although I do have very prominent nipples. I got used to just ignoring the looks I get from those. With small breasts, the attention doesn't seem to be that bad. However, I've recently noticed that they seem a little more loose, for lack of a better word, and I've started wearing bras much more often (about 80% of the time) in order to prevent them sagging too much later in life. I don't mind too much; as long as the bra fits properly, it's not uncomfortable.
If you want to wear one, but you think they're uncomfortable, they're not fitted properly. And every woman will have some brands or styles of bra that will never fit properly. Get yourself measured (many department stores will do this for you; walk up to the cashier in the lingerie dept and ask if they do that) so that you're at least getting the right size, and then ignore appearance long enough to find a style that works for you. Once you find a good brand/style, then you can look for one you like the look of.
As for bralessness being healthier, I'm not sure. I know that it's bad to have a bra that cuts off circulation, and I know that wearing them 24/7 has been linked to increased risk of breast cancer in at least one study, but as long as they're fitted properly and you don't sleep in them, I don't think there's any serious medical reason not to wear them.
All of the above is only my own opinion, and is not intended to be judgmental or dismissive of anyone. I hope it helps! |

| I hate bra's aswell. I wear one for exercise and if I go out in public but not at home. I have very big boobs so need a bra if Im walking but not for just in the house. If I had small boobs I would go everywhere without a bra! |

This is one of my major problems. I really can't handle wearing bras but the only reason I wear them is so people don't take notice of my titties and the way they naturally waddle behind my shirt.
I've had days where I just don't want to wear them but as soon as someone comes over, it's back to the breast shackles. _________________ Belief in a cruel God makes a cruel man.

I always wear a bra. I have size 32DD breasts, so I need one just to be able to move around. _________________ 'You're so cold, but you feel alive

| I think it's probably relative to breast size. I have a D cup on a fairly slim body so it's a lot more comfortable to wear a bra. |

I think you should wear a bra if you are bigger than a B cup, although it all depends whether you care more about comfort than saggy boobs at a later date.
I have massive F cup boobs so have never been able not to wear a bra - but 15 years and 1 child later , they are still full and very upright - so bras definitely do the job! _________________ When I am good I am very very good, but when I am bad I am better |

I'm a professional brafitter, I know how to fit a bra, so wearing a bra is a pleasure to me. I have many models from many brands and they support my boobs as well as I don't feel I wear a bra. _________________ Change Your Frequency, when you're talking to me!
