I tend to rent. I have a bit of a nack for games, and so I can beat the average game in a day or two of light play, so I only buy games I know I'll want to play through multiple times or that have great multiplayer.

I don't have a gamecube, but i played SSB-M on a demo Cube at Sams. I played a single battle with Zelda (not Link, but Princess Zelda herself). I will summarize what i discovered here: ZELDA KICKS BUTT! Ever since that i have wanted a Gamecube. Dad says they're too kiddy though...

You can play as Zelda is Super Smash Bros Melee. The game is a fighting game using just Nintendo characters. But unlike a normal fighting game the goal is to knock a player off the platform... not to just increase damage. But the higher damage you do the father your chacacter is hit.... its quite an interesting game concept.

The game has 4 characters from Zelda. Link, Zelda, Ganondorf and Young Link (he is just a lighter faster version of link with the same moves though.)

Zelda actually is a uniqe charater she can transform into Sheik, so its like playing two characters in one.

Super Smash Bros Melee is my favorite game of all time... I would recommend it to any one who owns a gamecube. Its a cheaper title now, you can pick it up for $20.

My favorite characters to play as is Mario, Young Link, Peach and Ness. But I like to play as most characters though...

My GC games are as follows:

The legend of Zelda: The wind waker
OoT and OoT Master Quest bonus disk
Legend of Zelda Bonus disk, including majora's mask

Super Mario Sunshine
Starfox adventures
1080 Avalanche
Wario World
Luigi's Mansion

Is ocarina of time any good for the Game Cube?

I prefer it on the Nintendo 64, the colours are better.

I haven't played much of the Master Quest, but I am enjoying it. I've beaten oot so much I know where everything is, and the dungeon maps are pretty much just stationed in my head with the chests and what's inside them.

I'm not tired of the game.. at all.

My fav games though are Majora's Mask, and The wind waker. OOt comes very close.

I thought it was only Adult Link and Zelda!!! Now i want it even more. It'll be intresting to see what the King of Evil can do (Insert Ganondorfs evil maniac laugh here)

The standard characters just have Link and Zelda, Young Link and Ganondorf are hidden and you have to unlock them. But they aren't that hard to unlock...

The game has 14 standard characters, and 11 hidden. The game has a lot to unlock...
