I can manage things that i know should be a priority like dishes or laundry, but as for a clean, tidy house....forget it. Often i just wont notice mess unless i'm physically tripping over it, honestly i just look right through it. Other times, i just can't bring myself to consider it important and so it doesn't get done. Unfortunatly my other half is as bad as me, so the house is just a mess and thats that!! _________________ When freedom is outlawed only outlaws are free. |

I pretty much don't fit it period. Although I have trouble hanging out with guys that aren't geeky because I'm not into sports either. I also spend time with geek girls. All my friends are geeks....and I am too.
I DO cook and I love to do that and bake. So does my boyfriend. We share the rest of the chores and for the record we both have terrible executive functioning and tend to have projects spread everywhere to boot so the house generally looks like something cross between a garage sale and a computer store exploded. We do do the dishes on a regular basis and laundry but everything else just doesn't get done. _________________ "If you would convince a man that he does wrong, do right. | I am a terrible housekeeper. I clean all of the dirty things, but junk mail piles up and the whole place is pretty cluttered. I don't know why I just can't seem to get on top of it. I see it and don't know where to begin, so I don't. It causes me a lot of anxiety, actually. I am a great cook and baker, though. My dh gets frustrated because I am a stay at home mom, but I remind him all the time that I take care of the kids and cook 2-3 meals per day (my youngest and I have food allergies, so it's all from scratch) and I can't keep up w/ all of the cleaning on top of that. We need to hire a once a week maid, but we're too poor right now. When dh graduates, hopefully that will change (he'll be getting his PhD in chemistry in less than a year.) |
