I do miss a country girl I thought liked me in college. We dated quite a bit in 2010 but she didn't realize that I wanted more than just spending Friday nights bowling, going to the movies, and playing man-hunt with her brother and his friends. I dropped hints on my Facebook page and she started to "like" those statuses. I called her up when she was having a bad day once and she confronted me on my feelings for her. I told her and then she said she wasn't on the same page.

We still kept talking on the phone and getting to know each other, and she was still trying to maintain a friendship (obviously she never watched the movie "When Harry Met Sally"). Later on, she wanted me to call her. When I did, I told her to stop playing games and had gotten really angry with her to the point where she started crying. We then did lunch afterwards and I told her I had AS. She pretty much avoided me afterwards and I couldn't bring myself to try to win her back even as I hung out with her brother. I waited a bit, then 2 months later, I called her up and we set up a lunch date, right before her birthday. We tried talking but our conversations just weren't as deep as they were when I called her up.

I just left her alone for a week (with the exception of wishing her happy birthday to which she never responded), and then when I decided to hang out with her brother again, I walked in to find her cuddled up with a buddy of mine. I got pretty pissed off at both of them and refused to speak to anyone in that group of friends that this girl, her brother, and her new boyfriend were with. The worst part is that they got married not even a year after dating and I was invited to the wedding. I still feel that pain of finding out she left me to spend the rest of her life with a man who has schizophrenic mental problems. I pretty much broke down after the engagement and poured out all of my energy into my schoolwork and shut myself away while I was in that small town college. I stopped partying, I quit making friends, and I even lost a lot of my faith since we both attended church together in the past. I am now moved back to my hometown doing practicum studies and dating someone new. The sad thing is that that pain is still there and is very very real. I grew from a boy into a man and learned to handle my emotions better but I've become very hard on myself and depressed because she is still on my mind. I hate this feeling.

We met in the FAA Academy in the dept of defense area. It was a breeding ground for Aspies & NTs. I usually just went off from everyone & read my philosophy books. She came after me & was very aggressive about me paying her attention. She finally got her way. A whirlwind affair began because we'd have the weekends off & while others studied we stayed in my relatives house in downtown alone while he was gone. It was ended because I completed the academy first & was sent to SoCal to work at their new facility. She got sent to a military base overseas but by the time she got her papers to come to SoCal w/ me I had lost my job because I wanted to do everything by the book which is not how Government jobs go...lots of political kissing up. I'm in touch w/ her on Facebook but I think my feelings are unrequited. It's the closest I've come to actual love.

Since my girlfriend lives in a small town close to the big city where I am and we both don't have cars, we can hardly see eachother unless our siblings or parents drive us. Not sure how that 2nd day of the week becomes an issue but I can understand. Space is a healthy thing to take but eventually when he can be free to make his own choices, you both can see each other more often. Sometimes my girlfriend texts me at random times to tell me how much she misses me and wishes I was with her at that moment. You two should try texting each other unless his parents are really strict.

I miss my girlfriend Trish, she is staying in Casper for the summer. But we can still talk to each other over the phone, and while I don't have a car and her car is a POS that she takes out of the city limits only in emergency situations, we're still planning for me to come up and visit her at her ranch for a few days. She wants me to come up during the Central Wyoming Fair & Rodeo, which is July 6-14. I wont have time for all of it, but I'm hoping to catch a Greyhound Saturday or Sunday so we can celebrate Tanabata (July 7th, aka the Festival of Stars) together. It's a Japanese holiday but it's kind of a thing between us seeing as we're both otaku, plus she's so far away from the city lights that the night sky view from her home is AMAZING, which fits perfectly with the theme of the Star Festival. I'm also planning on getting us both yukata, which are traditional Japanese festival-wear - kind of like a kimono only much lighter and breathable because it's meant for summer weather. I was looking the other day on J-list and found a nice women's yukata with a sakura blossom design that I think would match her nicely, esp. since she just cut her hair and dyed it purple.

I think I've posted on this before :/

I miss Sam, who's my ex and I shouldn't miss him because he's a bit of a user and our relationship is VERY weird, but I completely ended it with him and blocked him on everything we were friends on and deleted his number....still miss him though, he could be fun to hang out with Smile

Horribly. Every moment of every day.
He, however, loves ALL women.
It's time to move on- I know.

I really miss a girl I got to know through work about eleven years ago. She had a long term boyfriend at the time, but we ended up hanging out together a lot in and out of work and whenever I think about it these days with the social experience I've gathered in the time that has passed I can't help but feel I missed a golden opportunity to be with someone I had a great deal of affection for.

Hindsight is a great thing and if I could go back in time I'd slap the 22 year old me round the face shouting the Courage Wolf mantra of "Fear of rejection is worse than rejection" until I got the message and made a move. The signs were there, I was just too socially awkward to acknowledge it and back myself.

Truly lovely girl, pleasant, sincere, well adjusted, naturally attractive and she was even fairly tall which is a bonus for me because I'm about 6 foot 3.

A few years later I ended up dating a girl for a while who was 4 foot 11 which made things somewhat tricky and it turned out she had even more issues than myself so I think you can guess that it didn't work out. about that time it dawned on me that I'd made a massive mistake some years previous.
