No doubt, the absolute and corrupting power of the Moderator was flexed.... I think we need a public inquiry Smile

mmm i got gmail too.. i got invited back when they only gave you six invites... i mean... join my club in making hotmail bankrupt!! they have offered 2mb space and 1mb email for too long!! however they are spoed to be converting everyone to the 250mb space and 10mb attachments.. i had to cheat to do this.. ill get a link... this same method is probably on every forum in the world now lol

http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/t89592.html

Follow these steps, after you finish you will have 25mb first and then within 48 hours you will have 250mb.

1.Close MSN Messenger before your start.

2.Sign in to your hotmail account and change your personal profile in the Options as following:
Country: United States
State: Florida
Zip Code: 33332

3.Then go to the Language options and make it English if it's not.

4.If you don't want to lose your Inbox: Create your new folder and go back to your Inbox. Select the emails that you do not lose and click Put in folder. Choose the folder you have just created and the emails you have chosen will be moved to that folder. You can move them to your Inbox again later by the same method.

5.Before signing out, paste the link below into the address bar.
http://help.msn.com/!data/en_us/data/HotmailPIMv10.its51/$content$/PIM_PROC_CloseAcct.htm#
then click on "go to Close Account Page"
Then close your account. Your account will be disabled now.

6.Now go to hotmail.com again. Enter your username and password. The activation page will load. Activate your mail account.

7.You're done ! Now your mail account capacity has grown to 25 MB and in a day or two it will be 250 MB.
Enjoy your account with 250mb of storage now.

gmail is way better.. its totally free and has 1gig space.. and im unsure of how big your emails can be.. anyway they now offer free POP access... joys Embarassed

My hotmail now has 250 MB storage and 10 MB attachments (because I'm "a valued customer" apparently Rolling Eyes ), but is now so appallingly unreliable that I'm on the verge of dumping it..... Evil or Very Mad Masses of storage space, but you can only ever access it if there's a 'Z' in the month......
