Actor Harry Morgan, best known for his role as Col. Sherman T. Potter on M*A*S*H and as Officer Bill Gannon on Dragnet died earlier this morning at his Los Angles home, he was 96.
Another brilliant actor that will be missed. _________________ Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? |

Bummer.
At least he will keep making people laugh for many years to come. I don't see MASH reruns vanishing from TV any time soon, in large part because of him.
He will be missed. _________________ MrXxx is taking a long sabbatical, and no longer moderating. |

By his account: "There is not another bunch of actors that can come within a mile of this bunch..." referring to the cast of M*A*S*H...
An excellent actor on an excellent show. He will be missed. _________________ Life! Liberty!...and Perseveration!!.....

I remember his one movie role in "Support Your Local Sheriff" as the mayor. He had so many good lines in that one role. He will be missed. _________________ Youtube:http://www.youtube.com/user/hackdown3?feature=mhum |

R.I.P. Harry Morgan

a bit more revulsion to war. _________________ Morning comes the sunrise and i'm driven to my bed, I see that it is empty and there's devils in my head. Hear, here. We need a few more Colonel Potters-- or at least people who can play him convincingly.

Admittedly, when I first saw this, I thought it was Harry Morgan from Dexter. Felt disappointed. But I'm still disappointed for this loss of life.
