I'm proud to admit I'm a stoner. I smoke every day, sometimes all day. I function better when high, and it relieves most of my social anxieties, as well it chills my mind and body out which helps my ADHD. I can concentrate way better when I'm high. I used to sell, but that was just for fun. I know a LOT about cannabis, and refuse to call it marijuana, because that name was givin to it by the US government around the time they were fighting to make it illegal. Cannabis is one of, if not THE most beneficial plant to mankind, and I don't just mean weed, but hemp as well. That is a discussion for a whole entire topic.
I love weed, it's a huge part of my life. Some people just aren't effected by it in a positive way, but most are. If you don't do it, that's cool, but don't hate me because I do. Also, if you think I will ruin my life by smoking, then you are pretty ignorant, and have fallen victim to the general misinformation and myths about this amazing plant.
ps. i could say so much on this subject but im about to leave, i might come back later and write like a 12 page rant haha _________________ Confucius say - Man who stand on toilet high on pot.

I was a heavy marijuana user for 3 years. It felt great, music sounded better, food tasted better. My friends and I went on adventures. But then everything all came crashing down. I became really paranoid, got sent to the psych ward twice, rehab twice, this mental health place once, it just wasn't worth it. Plus, I was ignorant and moved on to harder drugs, I was a mess. I used to smoke multiple times a day every day, before school, during lunch, after school, after school some more and more, I was never sober, I forgot what being sober was like. I smoked marijuana since 8th grade, i'm a Senior now. And actually, I recently quit. I haven't smoked weed, drank, or done any harder drugs since September 18th of this year. The last time I smoked and drank was when I went to this party and people kept on handing me stuff, I was gone, it felt so good yet so wrong, plus, it wasn't worth it for me to get sent away again and I was more than a stoner, I was a druggie, i'm never going down that path again. It was really fun but just not for me, plus I couldn't handle that stuff, I always started saying really weird things, I was very social and danced on top of boats, and other stuff I don't want to mention. Now I have nothing against stoners, it's just not for me.
I love weed. Peoples heads get bigger and music sounds better and chips taste better. f***ing legalize this sh**.
I agree that they should legalize it, just lets remember it is still a drug a should be used responsibly. _________________ Souls.........yummmmm.....

i like marijuana quite allot i only smoke it in weekends though. this is because my brother smokes it every day and his lack of motivation to do anything with his life is striking. its not generally bad for you but its just something thats better to do with in intervals. of course if you can smoke it every day and not become useless which i believe is possible you should go for it. in general its just allot of fun or like a friend of mine put it "if you use alcohol you do lots of stupid stuff and you don't think if you use marijuana you think a lot of stupid stuff and don't do anything" i think thats quite a good description of its effects. marijuana's affects are different myself and a friend of mine who are both aspies bit have little trouble socializing usually just get philosophical and laugh more than usual. another pro for marijuana in comparison to alcohol is that when you smoke marijuana you might feel kinda woozy for a while when your not all to stoned anymore but when you drink alcohol you just get hung over quite bad. anyway its a lot of fun and i do not believe its any more dangerous than alcohol. also people that have never smoked marijuana shouldn't scream that loud that its bad since you just don't know what it does.
i may be biased as a admitted pothead...but marijuana is great! what people just need to understand is, like every single thing in the world, it's not for everyone! for ME, there is nothing better than having nice quality weed to enjoy through my pretty boring anti-social days. it combines greatly with various forms of entertainment, and also with how my crazy aspie head operates. it's also probably my main reason to go out and seek social interaction, so it at least definately helps in that regard.
marijuana has pretty much become my go-to special interest since i "discovered" it over a year ago... i have a vaporizer, multiple different style bongs, pipes, bubblers, etc etc. i've done everything from smoking an ounce in one setting to toking up on the weekends. i could tell you all about how the government has continued to disregard and outright block the REAL truth about marijuana. from the various smells, appearances, "highs", and tatstes, each new pick-up is an amazing feeling to see what i got this time. i've tried other stuff (lsd, shrooms, opiates, dmt,) but nothing could ever come cloes to the connection i feel with marijuana.

i got high a few times about 3 years ago. a classic scene of eating cookies and laughing for no reason around others. it was great, i'll admit. i definitely felt my brain, my thought process working at a higher level. but after awhile, it was boring and i started feeling a little pathetic for doing it.
and i'll admit if i ever get high again/ or if im drunk, this sh** will be the sh**.
and when im not, i'll hate this f***ing song.
I tried it a few times. It was okay. Didn't change my life or anything though. I'm personally indifferent for legalization: wouldn't care if it does get legalized or not. It would be cool if it ever did though.

Cannabis is an amazingly useful plant(i refuse to call it a drug) Hemp is one of the softest and most durable fibers in existence and it is cultivated only from Cannabis it produces 10% more fiber than cotton or flax if grown on the same landit creates superior paper, clothing, rope, and many other textiles like sail canvas, and the word canvas derives from Cannabis it is even directly related to American Independence from Great Britain seein as how The Declaration of Independence was written on Hemp paper. Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and George Washington ALL grew and smoked Cannabis.it was one of the first fuel sources used in the Industrial Revolution, and can today replace fossil fuels as a cheap, eco-friendly alternative. Cannabis can also help alleviate over 5000 different medical ailments(DEA claims it has no medicinal value) The US National Academy of Sciences has confirmed Cannabis is NOT a gateway drug(they say alcohol and nicotine are the real gateway drugs) UCLA has confirmed Cannabis is non addictive. it requires 1500 pounds of Cannabis smoked in 15 minutes to overdose which is virtually impossible. Cannabis has had a multitude of uses over at least 10000 years of recorded history. everything you think you know about Cannabis is government propaganda at its finest. when the war first started it was "if you smoke marijuana you will become a killer" watch the government propaganda movie from i think the 30s called Reefer Madness it explains the governments view well. then they changed it and said "if you smoke marijuana you will become insane" then bout 10 years later or so they changed it again and said "if you smoke marijuana you will die" then when the Cold War happened they said "if you smoke marijuana you are automatically a communist spy and a threat to America" and after the Cold War they said "if you smoke marijuana bad things will happen but we aren't quite sure what." the truth is that the only damage you can get from Cannabis is lung damage and thats only if you smoke it(don't quote me on this one but i heard if you smoke out of a vaporizor or a bong(water pipe) you don't get lung damage because the smoke is cooled instead of burning hot) Cannabis even opens up parts of the brain that normally aren't open. it doesn't kill brain cells unless you really hold your breath that long. the only real disadvantage is your impaired perception. all of my stoner friends are exceptionally bright most excelling at school. i can honestly say i personally know only one stoner who doesn't care about anything. but the rest actually have bright futures ahead of them. _________________ WP Strident Atheist
