just curious, about which games have the best soundtrack, personally, I love the sountrack from Marvel vs capcom 3, for the characters Deadpool, Dante, and X-23. the reast of my games jsut dont have that kind of sweet soundtrack. except maybe saints row the third, with the songs, "Power" and "waiting for a hero". ;ive got things like GTA 4, and NFS the run, but the solundtrack could've been better. alotught GTA 4 has some good music, like "Vagabond" but I perfer soundtrack made just for the game. it also would help me decide what game to buy next if i heard the games soundtrack.
are there any games like Marvel vs Capcom 3 that have a specific music theme for each character?. i think there may be some anime style games or fighting games with good soundtrack that are like this. but im not sure and i dont know what to search for.
and could someone show me the music from games they like? it could help me out alot. so, thanks if anyone will do this for me.

I've really enjoyed the Halo 3 soundtrack (martin O'Donnell), Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (Jesper Kyd), and the main theme for Gears of War, especially the track 'Finale' from GoW2 (Steve Jablonsky), which I'm listening to now, seriously give it a go. Years ago I liked Shogun: Total War. I think another one was from Resident Evil 4, although I never bought the soundtrack. _________________ Read, comment, learn, enjoy:

I do not recognise the DSM-V classifications or it's authority.
The Shin Megami Tensei: Persona games have really awesome soundtracks, as does Square Enix's title for the DS, The World Ends With You.
I also have the song "New World Order" from NFS: The Run on a playlist that I listen to when freerunning. In case you don't remember, this is the track that plays when Jack's car gets totaled by the Las Vegas PD and he has to escape from them in a parkour chase scene.

Spyro the Dragon series (only 1-4, which are the ones written by Stewart Copeland)
Crash Bandicoot series up to Twinsanity (imo the games may have gone downhill from The Wrath of Cortex, but the music is the one thing that saved it from completely crashing and burning, no pun intended )
Sonic the Hedgehog series. While the Dreamcast era was the best, even some of the more "modern" tracks using a rock band aren't that bad.
Super Smash Bros. series: original tracks to the series only lol The remixes, on the other hand...

Nobody's mentioned Final Fantasy 7 yet? One of my favorite games of all time, yet if you take away the music, it would be a below average RPG.
Others I feel deserve mention are the Castlevania games, (esp. SotN, Rondo, and the NES original,) Final Fantasy 6, Square's "other" RPG series (Chrono Cross & Chrono Trigger,) Nights: Into Dreams, The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, Diablo, and of course the classic Mario and Zelda music of the NES era.

^^ I haven't played 7, but I enjoyed the music in 4, 5, and 6. Also remember a few tunes from 10, but only from watching videos of it on youtube. _________________ About suffering they were never wrong,
