I watched the first episode of the first season...haven't watched it since.
I found it boring.

I haven't had TV for over 4 months, and haven't watched 'the lower 100' channels for years, since they canceled 'Enterprise'.. |

My cable company now has a new feature called "On Demand" with lots of free TV shows and movies. I can see Suvivor when I care to, rather than when I am at work.
I have put on the latest Big Brother series "Til Death Do us Part" and have watched 4 straight hours of it. I can barely tell the couples apart due to my terrible lack of facial recognition but it grinds away in the back ground.

Does it seem that the whole country is sitting down to watch it whenever it's on? That's what it's like where I'm from.
I used to find it interesting. I mean you have a bunch of people isolated and scheming and backstabbing, but it got boring. It's always the same.

LOL, people scheming and backstabbing IS boring, that is why Aspies are so ill suited for social experiment games and office politics.

I think that Big Brother is utterly pointless and downright ridiculous: it's just watching people living together! If I wanted to do that, I might as well stay at home! Because of the unacceptable behavior often seen in the Big Brother House (e.g. Jade Goody), it can't be good for the young audience; who start to think that racist bullying is funny.
I don't understand why this is so popular. If I was the leader of Ofcom, I would pull the programme without hesitation! It is rubbish, and completely boring. Isolating people and forcing them to live together is almost like bear-baiting or cock-fighting.
At least there are some television programmes that make fun of reality television in some way or another: like Dead Ringers, The Peter Serafinowicz Show, and That Mitchell And Webb Look.
Therefore, Big Brother = STUPID.

During the Big Brother season, my TV antenna cable is yanked right out of my TV, and the antenna socket is covered with over 10 layers of duct tape.
