| To me it's pointless to question reality,because it's impossible to determine which reality is valid. Who's to say my reality is false. What makes a fake reality fake. Is a fake reality less than the real reality, would it actually make a difference to be in the real reality as opposed to the fake reality? Maybe are reality is a computer simulation run by aliens. |

Yeah, i do believe sometimes space is infinite and time does not exists. But hey, this doesn't change anything - it is pointless to think about it.

It seems everything we see, touch, taste, smell, or feel is achieved via the medium of electromagnetic energy. And we still cannot say what that is. So if we cannot understand the medium by which we view reality, then we have no idea what reality is.
I like the multiverse theory because it explains why there seems to be so much empty space in the universe. I also like the idea of higher dimensions (like 4 dimensional space), and that at the moment we are limited to only seeing 3D space, but this thing called time is actually moving us through a 4D space but we can only ever see snapshots of 3D space at any one moment. |

There is no empty space in the Universe.
When atoms are removed from a vacuum under lab condition the space is still not empty. Research Quantum fields in a vacuum.

-Sometimes I wonder if life is one big dream and you wake up and you're actually someone else with a different life.
-Sometimes I wonder if we all see colours differently than everybody else.
-Sometimes I wonder if after we die we go on to a different life on a different planet. The life we're living now is only our first life basically. Maybe it's like a computer game and this is just level one and after we die we go on to level 2 and it gets harder.
-Or maybe we're just one big science experiment to a bunch of giants somewhere in our universe almost like The Truman Show except the whole world is a reality show for someone else in the universe |

We do.  Well, not necessarily from everybody else, but between two individuals they may be perceiving the same color differently in their head. Assuming neither person has any observable difference detectable on an objective test (such as the Ishihara Colorblind Test), there could still be differences in perception that we wouldn't be able to tell unless we were able to see from another person's brain/eyes. Perhaps one person's red-sensitive cone cells (in their eyes) are stronger than the other person's. They might see all colors shifted slightly to the red side of the visible spectrum (the first person might see a hue in-between yellow and green as more yellow, but would still call it yellow-green since their perception of yellow is actually slightly orange, if compared to the second person's point of view.)

I would sure hope not. I got quite a lucky leg-up in this "level" by being born in a developed country. All those babies out in the third world that die shortly after birth likely wouldn't be able to imagine the next level getting harder after that.

I'd like to say, "That must be so frustrating", but considering that you don't believe I'm real, I'm not sure how much that could help you.  Though if we (other people) were to believe it, what difference would it make? Would it benefit my artificial life? I doubt it would give me the opportunity to turn my life into something "real"... I'd like to know, out of curiosity. Is your urge to convince others due to us having some sort of benefit if we realized it, or do you just want somebody to agree with and understand your side (despite our opinions being nothing but an illusion anyway?) |
