in real life is also on here as a member or lurker?
Sometimes I wonder if anyone is on this forum as a lurker or NT member and I knew them in real life from school when I was a kid. It be something to see a user here and not even know I knew them in real life as a kid or as an adult. I also wonder if they have ever seen me and recognized me or didn't notice.
In fact sometimes I wonder if my mother lurks here because she seems to know what I do online and her saying people use AS as an excuse.  So she could be lurking on autism forums or how else did she get that opinion? Maybe she has had aspie patients or just talking to people who know someone with it, who knows.

| i sometimes get paranoid about people(especially my parents) finding this place and stalking me or the police or a private detective finding it but i do know one person from my organisation was a member here but i dont know if she is anymore or if she was for more than a brief time. she lives on the other side of the country and we have never formally met though i did see her at the marriage equality rally last year. she just randomly pm-ed me one day with "hey there comrade" and i freaked because i dont want people finding this place because i put embarrassing, emo, personal, secret stuff here. apparently she could tell i was from the same tradition from my politics and figured i might be in the international socialist organisation(US) and then she went through my profile and found we were from the same organisation. its kinda cool how small the world is sometimes. i sometimes wonder if there are any other people i know here, like from primary or highschool or uni or youthgroup or anyone else from our political tradition. |

I kind of wonder if there are people I've met and I had no idea If there were on the ASD, Some people I met I tend to wonder if they are undiagnosed but in my years so far I've only met a couple of aspies and they were younger than me and were very affected by our condition where I can pass for NT half the time. Sorry I think I went a bit off topic lol.

| Haha, that's an interesting thought. Sometimes I wonder if my ex-boyfriend or even his friend goes on this website because I can see them going on it and I have a feeling his friend has AS. I doubt it though. Sometimes I think my other ex-boyfriend's brother might be on this site because he has AS but I don't even think he'd go on a forum site, I can't see him doing that. |

I do wonder sometimes.
I think if anyone who knew me IRL even half decently were on here, they would recognize me immediately.
Thankfully nobody knows about my DX, and I hope to keep it that way.
I think if anyone found out I was on here, I would probably leave. Being an extremely private person IRL, this is really my only "outlet", so to speak, and I value the anonymity I have here very much.

I don't think people around this part of the world use forums that much, plus I've never seen any of my friends using any kind of forum so... I'm probably safe. Still, if one of them googled my nickname he would come up with embarassing stuff that I p'd never share IRL
