people think im older than my 25-year-old brother
Here are their reasons:
1)I act more mature(i dont quite understand this one other than the fact i have more logic and am more of a humanitarian)
2)much deeper voice
3)iam alot more hairy(chest hair, thick beard) _________________ Uncle Joe loves labor |

It seemed to me, in my day, that there was always an out group where all the artsy types, lost souls, misfits used to all congregate together; the weirder, the better....but those times have long passed, it would seem.
The BMW and Lexus crowd took over, along with the jocks and straights!!!

I fit into that crowd, unfortunately dysgraphia limits my capacity to express myself.
Of course, I really don't hang with 'crowds' well.
All of my friends are at most five years older then me, I have a few that are a bit younger then me, two years at the most. I'm sixteen, by the way.
Heh, forgetting your youth? I dropped that somewhere along the bullying and the medication side-affects. *Sigh.* _________________ Fear me mortals, for you are crunchy and go good on toast!

| I fit in better with intelectuals. I'm just not good at everyday conversation. It doesn't even have to be a certain age group, I've had very stimulating conversations with 10 year olds. |

| As far back as I remember I always related better to adults (until I became one, though still look to those that are wise and can help me). I was held back in Grade Primary due to my lack of interest in my peers and my intense desire to talk to the teacher and all. |

I found that in my youth, I talked a lot to my friend's mother quite a bit. I think that she really helped me grow up and develop more than anyone else.
I wish everyone could find as good a mentor to help them through the darkest hours. _________________ In the depths of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer........Albert Camus |

I was "scared straight" into finding some contemporaries, be they good influences or not. My mother was unenlightened, wished her daughter (me) was a cheerleader, etc. I try so hard to not hang myself up on that stuff regarding my son. _________________ In the depths of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer........Albert Camus |

Heh heh, I stick mainly to online friendships, much easier for me.

It's funny though because there have been a few teachers that have actually taken the time to actually have intellectual conversations with me and I always enjoied talking with them more than just casual conversations other students. I did have a mangager at my old job that I called "Big Gay Steve" and we got along real well. He went through the Seminary and Culinary school and he was still only 28. He was always the first person I asked if I had a question and he became the model in which I have shaped most of my veiw of the world off of. He got transfered to another store a couple months before I finally quit. _________________ "No matter how many instances of white swans we see, we must never assume that all swans are white." ~Sir Karl Popper

Agreed. BTW i pinched and altered your signature quote a bit. It sounds better as "FEAR ME, BRIEF MORTALS, FOR YOU ARE TASTY AND SPREAD WELL ON TOAST."
And to be honest, I get on well with most people. |

| I come from a big family and related best with members MUCH older than I, the generation of my gramps. I don't have much contact with cousins now and almost zero contact with aunts and uncles. I'm worn out socially and on-line chatting is practically my only outlet now. |
