Me and NumberNineJo went to A Great Little Place, which is a café in the town with very Aspie staff, but it's a pretty small place overall. There is Barons Bar, but it's a pub and you might want to be outside or somewhere brighter and airier.

How does everyone feel about the ramada hotel bar? How about a Saturday in April (excluding easter) late afternoon/early evening.

A bit late but if plans for this are still going ahead, i'd be interested. I live on the Wirral but am familiar with Liverpool as I sing in a choir over there :)

Days aren't an issue. I have no life.

Hi cathe. I've not heared anything from the others sin he I proposed this so nothing is happening at the moment.i agree with you that Liverpool is better. Numbers are still too small to organise anything yet, but watch this space I hope I'll have an update soon. Thanks for your interest anyway.

I grew up in Liverpool and left when I was 21.

I work in the head office of the National Autistic Society in London. I married another Aspie and a group of us here have got our own pub group that meets in the middle of London once a month. One that's for Aspies with jobs, relationships and even kids. Or just aspies who don't mind us? Anyone.

Get the scene started with something guys? Just stake a pub and even if two people meet, its something that everyone can find out about? In London we've got Autism London, DANDA, Essex groups, numerous social groups that have come and gone and of course stuff online. We've got nice ordinary aspies and villains, outcasts and HFA's and cliques and gangs and infamous aspies and tv personality ones and so on.

I'd set something up just to create a Liverpool character and vibe? Some group on Facebook just for Scouseland? Something where everyone can argue. Sit in the Cafe Tabac once a month???

My Father lives on in Aspie-splendour in Knotty Ash so I've still got folks there. Well, one or two more. I think the secret is to have something somewhere that is regular. Then you can all conspire and take over the city via hacking everyones systems?

Paul

All the stuff online is for the poor little autistic lambkins? Bloody hell, I'm sorely disappointed in Liverpool?

Get a regular night together and call it the Scouse Aspie Avengers or something? The Liverpool Autistic Socialisers or LA'S? The Aspie Blaggers? Generally something dodgy and weird? Unless you all think NT's should determine everything about our kind? AAAH, poor things? Look - they can actually drink booze? Just like normal people?

I was in the Merseyside Local Group of the Doctor Who Appreciation Society 30 years ago Loads of neurodiversity there and no one realised it? Sci Fi fandom in general was good for it?

Heheh. Give it loads
