I am INTJ and close to INFJ but the description of a INTJ is scarily accurate! My single biggest regret is not going for science or engineering because I am drove nuts by my sloppy coworkers.

You seem too emotional to be a solid INTJ. Just saying.

I've tested INTJ the two times I've taken the test, but honestly I think I'm leaning toward E as of late. Crazy, huh?

I'm a righty but I am positive I was forced right as a child. Back then the church ran the public schools and they taught that you could ONLY use your left hand for writing. That's probably why my writing was absolutely atrocious at that age! When I played baseball I was the only player in the league who batted left but threw right although that's not so unusual anymore.

Bringing this back to topic, there are two women around my age at work who took immediately to me and so did their young children (both boys). It got to the point where people though *I* was their father they got so excited to see me. I could never understand why until I met their husbands. Both were so INTJ and borderline Aspie it was laughable and yes, one is an Aerospace Engineer! I do know there is a girl I used to know that is probably INTJ if not very close and yes, she has never had a boyfriend at 26.

Interesting! I am a ENTP female dating an INTJ male aspie. I have never been with someone diagnosed with AS before, but I do have a certain type. I think ENTPs (including myself) tend to be very sapiosexual. I'm naturally drawn to the most intelligent (or who I perceive as such) person in the room. I am bisexual and I've noticed I do the same with both males and females. I want my partner to be smarter or more clever than myself.

Also, as an ENTP, I am fairly spacey and have a "go with the flow" personality. I find that a more INTJ type balances out this side of me by helping me with organization and maintenance of rituals.

The major personality clash is that ENTPs tend to be romantics and we love language and conversation. I think if an INTJ made an effort to occasionally put his wit and intelligence into words and focus his attentions to woo the ENTP.....he'd basically have them wrapped around his finger.

Funnily enough, I'm most aroused by my Aspie bf after reading one of his well-written essays. But that's just my sapiosexual side again.

How to tell difference between I/ENTP vs I/ENTJ.

ENTJ/INTJ - normally huge problems with direct empathy and too direct language but seen as goal oriented and ambitious. ENTJ is the hard ass of the NTs and of the all personalities.

ENTP/INTP - Too goofy, too absentminded, directionless but can be seen as devoted and quite empathetic. ENTP is the softest of NTs and propably softest of the Ts even more than many Fs (extroverts the very same processes as ESFJ aka girly girl but in different order)

NTPs are softies and nerdy whilst NTJs are bossy and hard asses.

Yes, I am definitely an ENTP! Lol. Don't forget that NTPs can be very stubborn and argumentative, though!

I scored INTJ

Introvert(89%) iNtuitive(25%) Thinking(88%) Judging(56%)

I hate it when girls try to bring me "out of my shell", like they are convinced it must be good for me or something. It's "my shell", why would I want to leave it? When I do leave it, I don't enjoy it. Stop trying.

I guess this means my ideal future girlfriend is spending this Friday night in a college library somewhere taking advantage of special late exam hours?

I'm an INTJ female diagnosed PDDNOS, and it has not really gotten in the way of getting dates. I am pretty frequently hit on and flirted with by others, mostly men. Most of them are shallow attractions, going by looks rather than personality. However, my rule about dating only people with whom I have a friendship connection has not stopped me from having boyfriends. For some reason, females seem less interested in dating me, but still sometimes sexually attracted.

When it comes to finding partners, I think it's easier when you participate social groups made of similar people and meet their other friends as well. It's only a matter of time that one of your networks will present you with a viable dating partner.

Honestly, as an INTJ, studying what that means and how to apply/adapt it to the workplace has been one of the most helpful things I have ever done.

This has been true both for daily workplace interactions and, more largely, in career planning.

They're doing it because they like you and think you're really sweet, but feel entombed/despairing at the prospect of spending one more evening with you in an airless little room while you stare at a screen. And when they go out with friends, the friends ask why you never come out, which makes her feel like a loser. And lots of shy guys really do appreciate being, um, shelled. If girls try to do this to you you should explain nicely, but clearly, that you appreciate what they're trying to do, but that you'd like for them to stop: that you are this way and you're happy with it, and if they're uncomfortable with it, you may not be the right guy for them.

I am an INTJ although have come up as ISTJ on some assessments.
I think I may come across as cold and detached as well, unintentionally.
As an introvert who doesn't like large groups of people perhaps it has been more difficult to meet a partner.
I've never had major issues meeting a partner, it's always just happened that I "click" with someone and before long we're deep in discussion about all sorts of things.
My current partner is like a female version of myself in many ways, we're remarkably similar. I suspect she is also on the lower end of the spectrum like myself. We both give each other a lot of space to engage in our various hobbies and interests and just understand that's how we like it.

lol, I'm INTP and I've been accused of being stubborn. I say it depends upon your perspective. If I'm trying to understand something I don't believe I'm being argumentative but others say that I am. I've been accused of being stubborn but when I'm provided with seemingly contradictory standards again I will ask questions.

If the person can show me where my thinking is fallacious on something then please show me and if I see my own error I will correct the error. For whatever reason that is beyond my comprehension most people can't seem to grasp this.
