I see some of these Christian broadcasting networks talk about this biblical stuff and they pull out a picture of an Apache attack helicopter and say that is what the bible was predicting. Or some cop walking around in full riot gear with gas mask and stuff and somehow that is a prophesy from the Bible. These people are fruitier than characters on cereal boxes.
Not forgetting the earliest Christian prediction that Jesus signalled the start of The Resurrection and that it would happen in their lifetime, a biblical fact that contemporary Christians like to gloss over. As to the OP all manner of uncommon weather events happen all over the world. We had a measurable tornado in VIctoria (australia) last year. More to the point read about the BIble in its entirety and then you will realise that it cannot be taken literally or as an historical document. Heck much of it has falsified authorship at falsified times, yet you want to cherry pick individual paragraphs to show its voracity
