'Plan B' would probably be living with my parents for the rest of my/their lives and feeling like a failure. That's more likely.

What is your first name? Rhikter

Age: 19

Location: Ridgecrest California, but I'm moving to Oregon next year

Hobbies and Interests: studying film, writing stories, painting and designing and drawing, basically I like creating. And taking notes of concepts of other people's creations for me to utilize in my own creations. I also love researching about different sorts of neurology studies and other related sciences as well as all affects and effects of the supernatural.

Why are you here? I have Asperger's syndrome and I want to meet others like me. I've only ever met one other person with Aspergers. I want to meet others and have a sense of community to go to so I don't feel so alone. Where I don't have to try so hard at conforming to standards I don't understand to appease others. I guess what I'm really saying is I'm tired mentally and emotionally and I'm looking for acceptance and hope.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): according to my relatives, I was diagnosed in kindergarten but as it turns out it was an informal diagnoses. They did tests, just not all of them. My mother couldn't afford all of them. They said "she's definitely on the autism spectrum and seems to have A sort of Aspergers, but we can't be sure whether it's high functioning or not without more tests." I didn't get more tests. But I know. I know I am. I research that too. Constantly. I can't help it. It's a compulsion.

Favorite subjects: math and science. I love creative writing and the opportunity to read, but I hate English class. But math and science are wonderful. I love them and how they have this poetic marriage with each other. You can't have anything without math and nothing can be explained without math. Same with science. Without math and science we wouldn't be cabals of survival nor invention.

Year/Grade: I was a freshman at college, but I dropped out because of cruel people and some health and wellness issues the fore mentioned people were making even more unbearable. I want to go back to college. Not next year, but the year after. But I don't know whether I want to pursue arts or science. I'm caught between becoming a film producer/ clothing designer, and a career as a marine archeologist/ biologist.

Favorite music: everything. So long as it has a good beat and good lyrics that mean something more than sex. I particularly love medieval music. Particularly the upbeat instrumentals. I love dancing to them. I grew up working at the Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha Wisconsin so the music is the only thing that's ever really felt like home to me.

Books: again, everything. So long as I can either learn from it or be inspired by it. My favorite type of book though is a book about magic and fairies and trolls and centaurs and gods and violence and romance all in one. Like a fairytale, but a gory one that's balanced by beauty and hope and love.

TV shows/Movies: EVERYTHING.

Instrument: I used to be obsessed with the piano and I still am in a longing way, but I haven't been able to play in years. I also know how to play the harp and wish I had one and I've always loved the sounds of woodwinds like the clarinet and the obo.

Do you like sports? I like them but they don't like me. I know absolutely everything about the Yankees which is funny because baseball doesn't make my top five for favorite sports. I used to dive and do ballet and martial arts. I did martial arts for 9years. My favorite sports to watch are: Ballet, Gymnastics, Figure skating, lacrosse, and Soccer. My favorite to play are: Ballet, Diving, Soccer, Swimming, and golf.

Family: I have two cousins who don't think much of me because they find it increasingly difficult to understand me. And one more cousin who I don't get to see or ever talk to because her parents don't approve of me being FTM transgender as though it's something to be approved of and because I don't believe in their religion and believe that love is love and that genitalia and gender shouldn't have anything to do with deciding whether or not you care for someone romantically. We have differences. Those are the only blood family members I have. Everyone else has forgotten about me or hurt me so I choose to cut them out as well.

Clothing: I like being comfortable. I like earth tones and soothing pastels. I hate close fitting clothes and I absolutely despise socks!! They keep my toes restrained when they don't need to be. Every time I get home, the first thing I do is rip off my socks then run into my room to strip down and put on some sweat pants or a long skirt and an oversized shirt. I almost always need long sleeves. Even at 110 degrees. I just need to be covered head to toe. Otherwise I feel naked. And layers are important. I've been told I wear layers like armor and that might be true. I haven't overanalyzed it. I have more important things to overanalyze. And I absolutely adore pockets. They make things comfortable and secure. Safe. Idk why, they just do. I almost never go anywhere without a flannel mens shirt as a jacket or a hoodie with the hood up. I always wear a hat or hood. I have to.

How did you find this website? Through using bing.

Job: self employed.

Plans for the future? If like to be able to say my plans are to not make plans and to instead just see where life carries me, because it sounds utterly romantic and the perfect response. And for the most part that is true, but I also happen to have hopes far too important and powerful to refrain from recognizing. I want to be in love with someone who loves me and never denies it and makes it known. I want them to never cheat on me and I want to have a family with them. I want to have a job I love and that I can feel important doing. I want to make my time matter. Whether that's expressing everything inside of me through books and movies and shows and songs and clothing to make my imprint on the world, or to make my name in more modest yet totally rivetingly intense journey of marine archaeology/ biological discovery and exploration.

Any comments? I've probably talked too much.

I live on the South Shore in MA. I actually lived in Springfield for part of my early childhood. Nice town, but the schools weren't right for me so we pulled out and moved to where I am now.

Nice. You used to live only a short distance from my neck of the woods. I've been a West Sider my whole life. Only a few minutes out from Springfield.
