Yes, but you assume everyone not living in a left coast state is into Duck Dynasty and Here Comes' Honey Boo Boo.

I call it like I see it. I also don't have the herd mentality when it comes to politics.

When the hell did I say everyone not on the "left coast" watches brain rot?
As for the Duck Dynasty crap at Walmart - I certainly don't look for it, either, but you can't get away from seeing it prominently displayed.
As for herd mentality in politics - that perfectly describes tea baggers who watch Fox. Just because I agree for the most part with the left doesn't mean I'm part of a herd - - it just means I think they're right.

Whatever.
If you don't want to buy Duck Dynasty junk then don't
If you don't like Fox news then don't watch it.
I see you tossed in the tea baggers in thier again. We should start taking bets on how many posts it'll take in any PPR thread for you to resort to that.

I believe you were the one who brought up the whole Duck Dynasty thing in this thread, not me. And I don't buy their crap, or watch Fox. But Fox's influence is so wide, it's hard to ignore it.
And... tea bagger, tea bagger, tea bagger, tea bagger, tea bagger, tea bagger, tea bagger...
Lucky for you I have to go to the bathroom, or I'd fill the page with tea bagger!

/\ You said it first in this thread.

The sad thing is you probably typed out "tea bagger" over and over from not knowing enough to use copy & paste.

Pwnd3d :P

Sure, I agree Republican congressmen and senators should represent their constituents, even if that means having an adversarial relationship with the President. But the country as a whole expects congress to do their job, which means accomplishing something - preferably through negotiation, and give and take - rather than causing government to grind to a halt. And grinding government to a halt is exactly what the congressional Republicans have done, while the Supreme Court's conservative element is driven by ideology rather than a genuine interpretation of the law. And by the way, Obama has actually used executive action much less than either Bush Presidents, Clinton, or Reagan - but you wouldn't know that listening to the Republicans.

yeah the democrates refused to negotiate too. obama told them he wouldn't change his mind or move a inch same with the dems in senate. its all their faults not just the right.

though you on the left think compromise means get what you want and the others give in on everything.
it means meet half way. the repubs kept chaning and trying to find middle ground the dems said nope nope nope nope. heres the same bill we orignall wrote. then when it shut down. obama went out of his way to make people suffer like closing the ww2 memorial and making vets walk long distances. or treating visistors to yellowstone like pows. all to make a point.
we can't pay people to come cut the grass but we'll hire more guards with m4's to come kick you off it.

the changes he did with reguards to guns was stupid. baning guns made in 1930s that are sim auto weigh like 12 pounds and fire from clips oh no, such dangerous weapons of war, he made it sound like they were trying to bring back M240 machineguns. just his way of throwing a fit and getting back at lawful gun ownsers. now thos guns we paid to make and loaned to korea are going to canada. they would have helped the goverment make money by selling them.

the other one creats a loop hole that could allow people to start making new full auto guns. something to do with changing the classification of what a trust is and what the law says about who can't make new ones. either way its just another way of striking back as there aren't any crimes committed by guns owned in trusts.

if I had it my way there would be 2 term limit on senate and house. some of these people have been in office most of thier life and will die in office. how a 90 year old person can have any idea what a 18 year old wants is crazy. when they were 18 it was ww2 ish. they have no ideal what my generation wants or needs.

You're seriously trying to blame the government shutdown on the Democrats?!?! The government shutdown was all about Ted Cruz's display of performance art to impress his voters back home. In fact, the mainstream of the Republican party knew it was about nothing but Cruz's ego. And what is so terrible that Obama and the Democrats won't back down on? The Affordable Care Act, which will keep people from literally dying? Extending unemployment benefits, so out of work people can continue to provide food, shelter, and clothing for themselves and their families? Fighting for food stamps from being cut, so poor people and their children can eat? I'm sorry, but you have to have come from the Bizzaro world for those things to be bad.
As for guns - other than countering the fringe gun fetishists out there who claim gun ownership is meant to resist government tyranny, I have found the whole matter of gun rights is an issue I hardly have much interest in, and I invariably end up being drawn down into an endless spiral of arguments when I foolishly get myself involved.

I should make a show called "[feral] cat [and dog] dynasty".

It'd be glorious.

My daughter had never seen the Duck Nasty show,She clicked it on and watched about 5 mnts of it.They were looking for a key under a rock and acting stupid. We began to get brain damage from the show so we had to quickly turn on the Classic Arts Showcase channel to stop the disintegration of our brains.Thank goodness we had the antidote handy or we would have turned into idiots from the exposure.

/\ Just about all reality TV shows are brain rot inducing. Duck Dynasty is a shade dumber than the rest.

the whole its only the republicans . the democrats are innocent angels won't work on me. it got to the point they wanted to just delay its full enactment evenly. obama delayed it for his big business friends but left it so small ones still had to. and nop the democrats refused. as if to cross the line and give a millimeter to the other side would be the end of the world.
it really hasn't changed much towards helping people in some cases its made it harder. like I and other are more limited under the ACA then we were before. My dental is reduced, my eye visits are gone or reduced. etc. others saw their rates sky rocket. some who can't afford it get fined, and starting next year we will all be taxed for it. obam used his pen to delay it for some but f**k others. if its so messed up that some need delays then probaly everyone needs it.

you assume I am against those things, when I am on SSI, food stamps and medicaid. I know people need them. the aca wasn't and isn't perfect there are tons of problems with it, or Obama wouln'd have used orders to delay parts of it. this is what happens when you vote on a bill you didn't read.

there are still people dying under the new law. there are some people who can't get treatment under the new law.

difference between us is I don't think all democrats are bad, but you think all republicans are bad. what the dems did during the shut down was terrible and avoidable. and the gov shutting down was both sides fault. the dems could have been ok lets delay it another year. think about it, maybe if it had been delayed the websites would have worked better, people wouldn't be without healthcare for months. my sister for example like many lost her health care cause the change, then she got "lost" in the system for months, they told her runn around over and over, played the its not our fault its person A's fault, then person A says its the the others person's fault , then when its finially figured out, the issuance company she is suppose to be through says we ran out of room so no one else can be under us. hows that even possible o.O so now she has an open card, which is harder to understand and get places to accept.

but yeah lets not try to fix the system and just move on and then expand it later, sounds similar to gun control and immigration.

we need to kick them all out , elect new people who will sit down and go thru the laws we have and fix them, until the laws we have are fixed, renewed, we don't need any more new laws.
