No contradiction on my part. It's getting colder. Cooling is bad. We need more warming.

You mean, 'We need warming.' 'More warming' is a de facto admission on your part that some warming is happening.

Baka.

Oh Bull corn.We do not need more warming.Apparently you have never seen a spell of 111 degree weather and no rain for months.

Yes, up until 1998, then the global cooling began.

Both are right,
Misslizard lives in Dust Bowl Hights, where hot, dry, tornados, do make a mess.
Humanaut lives in Norway, which would be ice covered without the Gulf Stream.

One gets used Okie air, the other a humid flow off the North Atlantic.

Global Climate is a myth. New Orleans and the whole Mississippi valley was several degrees cooler than normal this year. In the middle of Russia, it was four degrees cooler, and they use C.

While the US has been in drought for fourteen years, that is confined to the west. The upper East Coast has been very wet.

There is no climate equality, nor is it consistant. The Arizona drought got flooded this year.

Yes, greenhouse gasses stay in the air, and do cause warming, that drives the water cycle, to a more dynamic climate, and weather patterns shift. Warmer air drives evaporation from the oceans, which also extracts heat.

The warming up to 1998 was sudden, then the water cycle caught up, and used up the excess heat.

To also measure the total rain and snow fall would give a connection. We have had two hundred year floods since 1998.

France and Chicago had heat waves that killed thousands, and it was a great year for French wines.

Hurricanes have been turning north before they reach the Gulf, let the East Coast have them. Some have even struck England.

Climate has become more dynamic, weather patterns are changing, there is nothing we can do, because it is mostly driven by India and China.

The 700-1500 drought had nothing to do with us. Nothing we could do to change the fourteen year drought we are in. During the Great Drought, 90,000,000 buffalo roamed and the west was tall grass prarie. Blame buffalo farts if you wish, but when it ended, there were still buffalo.

Since we have been around as a species, 125,000 years, it has been an ice age, with only three interglacial periods, 5,000 year, 5,000 years, and this 10,000 year period. The last interglacial was much warmer.

In the choice between warmer and cooler, I have to vote warmer. I have the clothes for it.

Any cooling, as the Global Warming folks demand, will force cubic miles of water out of the air.

It would be a disaster.

If you want to know about the accuracy of global climate theory, look at the predictions that were being made 10 or 20 years ago. It's kind of scary not only how accurate most of it was, but also how it's all happening on an accelerated timetable.

Nothing cooled. It only slowed it's heating. Which makes sense, it takes time to boil water.

World's top climate scientists confess: Global warming is just QUARTER what we thought - and computers got the effects of greenhouse gases wrong.

Leaked report reveals the world has warmed at quarter the rate claimed by IPCC in 2007.
Scientists accept their computers may have exaggerated.

^^^^^^

But this warming still causes cancer according to the same paper!

What should we do?

Ummm, scroll back. OK, your intuition is superior to EVERY scientific organization in the world. Please, at least give some evidence for your sillyness. Oh yeah, there is none.

2014 looks like the hottest year on record. If the El Nino kicks in.

That is the little beast that drives our hurricane season.

Florida and the Gulf Coast have not had a major hit in years. We are due.

That puts a lot more water vapor than normal into the potential for snow.

It has been getting overall hotter since 1998, but the lows are getting lower.

2015 looks like a new record.

From the cover of, The Whole Earth Catalog,

"The flow of energy through a system tends to act to organize that system."

Expect big data events.

Why is it some people insist there is no real evidence CO2 affects climate?

There is just as much evidence that (in the past) climate change influence CO2 production. Now most of the CO2 load in the atmosphere is man made. It is a good time to pave north America from coast to coast with breeder reactors and stop burning hydrocarbons so much.
