Here is a fail compilation of their activities while our predator drones as well as the Iraqi army arent killing and beheading them! Im not afraid of them because I live in America and if they attack us we can simply drop a few MAOBs on em *one of the largest non nuclear bombs around on em* They are just a bunch of jawas incapable of running a country so result in animalistic barbary by raping killing and torturing people while also blowing themselves up like cowards!

Your overestimation of the efficacy of modern technological weapons is the real joke. Maybe they will cooperate and gather in one spot so your bombs will work?

ISIS will continue to THRIVE precisely because of the military assymetry. Innocent civillians will die because of NATO airstrikes and IS will use that to radicalise more people towards their cause.

Americans shouldn't make the mistake of confusing this as stupidity. They know what they're doing.
Do you think they are capable of successfully invading and completely taking over a superpower country like America or China?

I don't necessarilly think that 'taking over' America or China is their endgame. They may say it is, but what they say and what they intend are two different things.

They probably view this as more of a domino effect, taking over one muslim country one after the other. If you remember how large the islamic world is that gives them a lot of room for growth. If they take Pakistan, they will have the nuke already. However the American-Western strategy will only help them achieve such things. IS are not fighting the same kind of war as the west.

The level of patriotically induced blind ingorance in this thread is absurd. We're a massive military industrial complex (that's where half our tax dollars go.)

ISIS exists because the United States wants it to. We gave them the guns and destabalized the region. Need more proof? Look at how we are handling it. Airstrikes. The one method proven to be most effective in reinforcing Americas image as a bully and creating more terrorists.........

Now we're arming the Syrians, who were are "greatest threat" just one year ago.

Creating enemies to fight has been our major foreign policy since the 1980s. Hell, most of our foreign struggles (including 9/11 and the Taliban) can be traced back to Reagan and his "arm the rebels" policies.

I do agree that IS makes a convenient bogeyman for the USA for their 'forever war' in the post Bin Laden context. I'm not sure I agree that it is totally of US design but I feel somewhat that to America they are a welcome consequence of the second gulf war and of Hussein's usurpal.

Do you support ISIS and expect the whole world to just bow down to them and let them do as they please?

If ISIS tries to invade the west and expect to succeed they will fail just like the Persians with Greece!

That's nonsense. We are not arming Assad's allies. If money didn't go into weapons we use, it would go into R&D. We don't need to artificially create wars in the 21st century, there is plenty of "natural" conflict to go around. The destabilizing factor in the region is oil. Without oil it would remain a rural area that couldn't support a large population. Oil is the source of money to buy arms, and that combined with an inherently supremacist ideology like Islam is the source of all this trouble. Desperation of nations for energy at the end of the oil age means that it's only going to get worse for a while. The good thing is that this isn't like WWII. Comparatively few westerners will have to sacrifice their lives.

Either way ISIS is now pissing off other countries around the world and not the USA soon, they will be carpet bombed like roaches! All what will be left will be a bigger pile of burning corpses and ruins and zero fuqs will be given! ISIS's activity isn't a joke by any means, what I am Implying is if they think they can crontrol the world they are indeed a joke! That title goes to the USA China and Possibly Russia they are but a blip on the radar just stirring up s**t in Syria and Iraq! They do not have nukes nor do they have high tech weaponry as much as the big 3 Empires do unless they have access to a doomsday device capable of wiping out the entire worlds population I am not afraid of them and will not bow down to them or follow their demands! If they had the power to harness the power of a supervolcano like Yellowstone I will not surrender or take their power capabilities in ruling the world seriously! A joke... a joke that beheads people and video tapes the act for the world to see?
Not a very good joke, imo.

If the US is truly behind their formation, then would that make the US joke as well? Or a very dangerous player in this world war game?

Either of those possibilities makes me nervous. Knowing that such evil exists... very unsettling.

Global warming created ISIS, according to some experts.

When they get to calling themselves "sex", the internet is gong to have a depressing time of it.

That's why we should emulate the French, and call them "Daesh".

Funny you mention sex on the internet:if you're into "MILF" porn you've probably already mistakenly ended up on the site of the Phillipine "Moro Islamic Liberation Front".
