Usually cops have better things to do that lecture people, except where it concern personal safety and or the law. Maybe in a small town perhaps, with little to do.
It is unprofessional whatever the doctrine. it is simply nothing to do with the job, and abuse of power.

Plus the average LEO's idea of what constitutes the law changes from officer to officer to department to state
and their ideas are not necessarily the truth but they will make you try to believe otherwise. I've seen and
experienced this in small and large cities. If you haven't, good for you, but please don't try to refute me with
a lack of knowledge.
