Why is this section of the forum so controversial?

I think this section is controversial (at least in my eyes) that some people can be very mean at times and act like a know-it-all, put down people and just overall have a negative demeanor.

We're all in this together, so I don't see why anyone would want to act in that manner. We are on this website because the majority of people are jerks, so why are we being the same to each other?

But rainydaykid I think you do capture something with this statement. It is easy to become bitter at perceived ostracism. I get jealous sometimes when I see a happy couple. It's like, why do they get the dream and I don't. But you can't embrace that - you don't know anything about them or their trials.

It's because misfits like myself worm their ways in and contradict traditional ways of thinking. :wink: :twisted:
