I don't think the "feminist scholar's" views reflect the experience of most people.

If what she said is true, that father should be exposed to prison vengeance, and hung on an ice pick.

I dont have a problem with feminism and Im all for equal rights and such its when the radicals come out and whine and blame men and act sexist towards men I have a problem with sure its a somewhat small percentage but they make feminists look bad, it starts driving me to the point of trolling them unfortunately I sometimes end up trolling legit feminists without knowing it by painting a broad brush and it does more harm than good. Sure I get a few laughs but then fail to realize I am angering potential allies against sexism all together by willfully being a chauvinistic pig knowing it will enrage the rad fems but get carried away and enrages the moderate ones as well that are out for a good cause. I know from a bad past of being a victim of sexual and mental abuse as a male victim but also acknowledge there are female victims on a common basis, it frustrates me that male victims get ignored like it never exists but I understand female victims need protection and acknowledgement. I also know that there are abusive men so theres no surprise there and also male rapists and such but there are also abusive women and female rapists there is also sexism against men as there are women.
There are:

Men who abuse women and women who abuse men there are also men who abuse men and women who abuse women.
Men who rape women and women who rape men there are also men who rape men and women who rape women.
Sexists towards women and sexists towards men.
Homophobes and heterophobes.

This all needs to be addressed and I think all are equally bad.

This is why I dont identify myself as a feminist or an MRA and rarely take either seriously, if both sides want to make progress both need to focus on the common issues and work together and true change can be made, not finger pointing victim blaming or being professional victims to garner attention.
