^ Yeah I'm pretty sure you CAN go wrong with that. I was actually unsure whether he was joking.

Nothing wth fur!
Everyone who emphasised comfort is right, if you're not happy with it, it will never look right on you.
The easiest thing to do is pick what you're most comfortable with - jeans, t shirts, button shirts, polo's, cords, whatever - and upgrade to good quality. That way you're still being you, women can see the quality, and you won't need to restock the wardrobe for a while
Someone made a point about cardio - this is important. Even if it's iust a run around the block once a day, you won't regret the effort
Let us know how you go :)

Femininity in fashion isn't something that is negative if you have confident body language, look at examples like Russell Brand.

Grey works well.

You can't go wrong with a slim black suit and black skinny tie though.

It wasn't the femininity I had an issue with but it's a pretty "out there" look and definitely not a guaranteed winner.

Somehow I don't think that showing up to a coffee date in a full suit with a mink around your neck would be the best idea.

Feminity in fashion is seen negative if you are a man wearing it; and I was right that the fur would make women associate it to women wears.

As silly as it sounds, fashion is now a part of our sexual identity (and even sexuality?); clothes strongly emphasize our sex, I mean...hell, even pants were seen odd for women in the 40-50s, been around women shopping many times and they often react negatively (ie. it's like girls, too gay...etc) to men wear that have "feminine" elements: pink, fur, hello kitty, flowers, shiny stuff, sparking stuff...etc.
In my country, only communist girls with "rebellious attitude against society" would tolerarte things against the flow.

So as a rule of thumb: the farther you go from the opposite sex fashion, the more accepted this fashion is on you.

There is indeed something to be said for tailored clothing instead of standard measure (off the rack) clothes. Since such clothes are made to fit your own personal sizes and would therefore fir a lot better.

This is going to sound weird, but I get more looks and friendly comments from BOTH sexes by wearing my purple squid hat and braiding my beard, which reaches my stomach. Perhaps you should do something strange to stand out?

This.

If you want to attract someone different - *dress* differently.

All my clothes are tailored, otherwise I would have to buy them from the kids section. Tailoring budget is included in my cloth shopping budget.

He has slept with many women and dressing that way didn't have a negative impact on that result so feminine elements in fashion can work. Many women are going for men that are fashion and body conscious so there's a change in the requirements a man must meet but there's also the other extreme like wearing a pink backpack which I don't advise.

I would much rather look groomed, dark and classy over looking like someone from a sports bar.

Do you advise that Brian wears jogging pants and football shirts on dates?

I'm not sure why this is here. But I felt, for some reason, this needed to be recorded for generations to come.

s**t this is all so overwhelming. I just don't know where to begin, because up to now I've never cared about clothes. I still don't, but I just wanna get more women to notice me. I don't even know how much to spend or if I can afford these clothes.
