I saw "Inglorious Basterds" yesterday. The whole audience (including myself) applauded it when it finished. It was fantastic and very funny. Trust Quentin Tarantino to make a movie made of pure awesome (although extremely historically inaccurate).

When I think of what happened on 9/11/2001 the words of Lt. Aldo Raine ring in my ears:

Ah want mah scalps!

Little Ashes, about Salvador Dali's relationship with the poet Federico Garcia Lorco. Beautifully shot, well written script. Robert Pattison, who is more well known for the Twilight movie, played Dali and did a remarkable job of it. I actually have some respect for him as an actor now.

District 9

The Hurt Locker

Both were intense and entertaining.

About The Hurt Locker, it's intense,
but not entertaining. It shows how war
{in this case Iraq} can change a person.

district 9 and Tae Guk Gi a Korean film in the vein of Saving Private Ryan. Tae Guk Gi is about the Korean War and two brothers that are drafted into the war. It shows how they lose trust as the war goes on. It is one of the five or so movies that have made me cry. It is also the best historical movie that I have seen. They have it at blockbuster in the foreign aisle.

An American Carol - 7.5/10

Never thought I'd actually get around to seeing this on my own but I did last night. Its somewhat witty but, had plenty of room to be done better.
