Is this anything like a follow up to American Werewolf in Paris or was she just that gung ho on going back for a visit? |

where the wild things are-it's not like kid's movies being made today. it has truth to it and is not sugar coated. it's can be confusing at times but that's how childhood is. children may not enjoy it because it's a bit more psychological and messy than a common kid's movie.
now the last movie i saw in theatres before the wild things was...i did go to the new orleans film festival. my favorite movie was El Sistema. hopeful and inspiring, maybe bit too but i liked it.
now mass released...i think 500 days of summer...or district 9. one comforted me and the other i had to keep reminding myself it wasn't real through out and after the movie. _________________ Tinky is currently on a thousand mile search for the Great Erudite Sponge who will tell her all she needs to know about life and the smelliness of it.

finally saw "Monsters vs Aliens" yesterday
Fun film, one of the few good CGI films to actually come out of Dreamworks. |

Hardwired - 8/10
pretty decent sci fi flick. enjoyed watching it.
harry potter 6 - 7/10
not bad, not any where near as boring a the reviews made it out to be. crappy ending, the ending in the book wasn't exactly great but this was just terrible. other than that it was well worth a watch.
left for dead - 4/10
craptacular |

Law Abiding Citizen. If you like revenge movies, this is the one to see.
I think revenge is the coolest.

Movies I've seen recently, eh? Could be a long list depending on your definition of "recently"...
I'll keep it short, since Halloween:
Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens
Dracula (1931)
Dracula (2006)
Orphan
El Orfanato
Paranormal Activity
The Descent
For Sale By Owner
Primer
V for Vendetta
Edited to add the short film "9" that the recent movie was based on. Have yet to see the new one though. |

"Fatal contact: Bird flu in America" 9/10 Wnat an ending
"Wasting away" 9/10 What a twist on zombies
"Pandemic" 7/10 Too much politics for my taste
"Trick r treat" 7/10 4 nice stories but not great, though the bonus on Halloween lore was very interesting _________________ "You don’t suffer from Aspergers, you suffer from other people!” Tony Attwood

I just saw Michael Jackson's "This Is It". This movie is NOT an autobiography, it merely shows Michael and all choreographers preparing for that huge European concert tour back in the spring. Those were Michael's final days.
I enjoyed it anyway. |

"Angels and demons" 5/10. Meh. While it wasn't awful, it never caught my interest. _________________ "You don’t suffer from Aspergers, you suffer from other people!” Tony Attwood
