Who else hates the 'popular' kids? I hated them in primary school, always getting attention and crap. Everyone wanted to be them, but why? They're losers. Especially that girl I knew who had it in for me. All the guys wanted to date her. Rolling Eyes

I never had a problem with them, but that's because if you could assign a number on a popularity scale, I was in the top 25 out of 700 kids in my senior year of highscool. I did have a problem with stupid pricks who thought they were popular, because they were the mean kids. The popular kids were always nice to everyone, and could intermingle with every group of kids in the school.

I couldn't stand the popular kids. I really, really was frustrated over the whole situation. I think becuase I was so quite, (I didn't understand why people communicated) that it offended those that did communicate. Everytime I was in a group at school it would be terrible.

I also think becuase I didn't defend or speak up; that those mean kids that were popular would pick on me more. AWEFUL. YICK, BLAH, BLAH. People couldn't pay me enough money to go back in time. I did see nice kids that were popular; however, they never stood up and defended me...

Most of the popular kids in my year were pretty cool. I did have a brief fight with the football team in high school, but that fixed itself, and they graduated. I wasn't at all part of the 'in' crowd, but they just didn't cause problems.

There wasn't so much popular kids at high school, but most people there did have hoards of friends. The kids I hung around were different; all of them had a disibility of some sort, and the more popular people didn't like them because they were different.

I'm actually very popular at my school! However, the other students don't know I'm really living a big lie to protect my identity. Trust me, it's a long story. But hey, as long as I'm popular, I'm not complaining!

It depends on them. One of my best friends in school is the 'leader' of a popular group... some of her favourite things are dancing, dresses and other girly stuff. Although I have no desire to join her group, I really like her because she's quite open-minded and intelligent; actually I'm the only one of the people who isn't somehow in her group and doesn't hate her. But then again there are other students and groups who are just rude, violent and uncultured and other people support them because they think it's 'cool'. I know quite a few of these and they don't like me at all. I don't mind that though, I really hate them.

I think "popular" kids were undeserving. I didn't notice it in primary school, but there were likely popular groups.

There were loads of segmented groups in high school. So many posers...
The bigger groups were filled with somewhat mainstream kids, who also hung around with other groups as well. In most of those groups, me and my 2-3 strong group of friends were regarded as "nerds" and "boffs". I didn't care, and didn't look twice at the groups of popular kids.

The bullies were mostly boys, but there were also some idiotic girls. They did it mostly when other kids were around, to inflate their egos. I faced bullying daily, but I ignored it. They were all bloody idiotic scumbags, nothing they said meant anything.

There's no such thing as popularity at my HS but just the people who manipulate others to feed their self-esteem I stay away from. Groups are what people have in common, not just their looks or rely on a leader.

my group just laugh at the 'popular people' cus most of them are brain dead and none actually likes most of them

the 'popular' girls look like they load a shotgun shell with make up and fake tan every morning

the 'popular' guys have a clear leader and i reckon they created a hive mind and he stole it one day cus hes really quite smart and the others cant think

I really don't have a problem with them.

What I DON'T like is how some of them treat other people and how they generally act. The school where I went to was PATHETIC...it was a private school of about 150-250 students and all of them kept trying to be popular and out-do each other and try to make everyone feel bad about themselves. I was an outsider. Most of the time I was laughing my ass off at them.

But,there ARE some popular kids that aren't so bad. I'm a bit popular myself.
