Nope.

My spiritiality goes in a different direction that that but I have a good friend who meet her "Spiritial Healer." She learned the name of her healer too.

How did it happen?
Has she come back afterwards?
What was her shape?
What was her name?

I met her during deep meditation.
She visits me in my dreams sometimes
She takes the shape of a Civet
Her name, she told me it was Caoimhe.

If I were you, I'd sever all ties with that thing! At the very least, always be cautious of it. I knew someone in high school that talked about their spirit guides and demons using the terms interchangably.

my totem animal is a horse. i also have several other guides/guardians, and work with one goddess and one god a lot, although it depends on what i'm doing.

for information - totem animals usually come in fours, either four separate instances of the same animal (or whatever), or four at once.

and i disagree with sean - there's nothing dangerous about it, as long as you have some guidance. there's plenty of sensible and responsible literature on it, if you can't actually talk to someone. ted andrews, scott cunningham are ones who spring to mind for general stuff, cos they're easy to understand, and not too far up their own bottoms.

Okay, you can disagree with my opinioins and advice, but how do you disagree with the personal account of another?

having had plenty of experience with such people, sounds to me as though the person concerned was trying to get a reaction out of you (fear, cos they seem to think it means they have some sort of power, probably over you). also sounds to me as though they got it.

there are plenty of wallies who wander around claiming all sorts of power and other stuff about themselves. very few are dangerous, in that they need to do this cos they HAVEN'T got any. the few who DO are... well, few. statistically, youd be very unlucky to meet one.

and having a triffid as a spirit guide sounds quite silly - i LIKE it!
