I am a late comer to this thread....just wanted to say....funny and true.

My cat demands to be let into the bathroom and to sit on my lap,as well.Very odd, these critters. He doesnt like any closed doors and has learned to ope the closet door by grabbing underneath with a paw and pulling.

Blessedmom.....puppy training....do you let the puppy and older dog out side to poo at the same time?Sometimes an older dog can help train the little ones. When we adopted our lab puppy, the mother had already pooty trained him.

Yeah, my husband telecommutes, and one of our cats constantly interrupts him while he is trying to work. This cat is basically obsessed with him and wants his constant attention - the cat doesn't give a damn about me, even though he was originally my cat for 2&1/2 years before I met my husband.

I can't let the little guy out at the same time as the big guy because all they do is play. And when I tell Pongo (border collie) to lie down and stay, the little one just keeps running to where he is. I am home all day so really it is just a matter of me taking him out at regular intervals. He will get used to the outside and do his business out there. That is how Pongo was trained. He only soiled in the house 4 times. Then again, he is a border collie and smart, smart, smart. Believe me, my dayhome children have done a lot worse to my carpet! Mad

my cat will bat my nose and sit on my chest until I get up and then he will sprawl on his back in his favorite little nook for me to rub his belly. . .

LOL what a cutie -

when it gets bedtime, he is yowling, trys to herd me towards the bed. . he is such a nudge! He gets rather anxious if I vary from the schedule, too.

no room for chooks, Prof. . . I live in an apartment of a huge old house in a tree lined residental street in a smaller town. The front of the house is being converted into a Ladies Tea room and the side and front yards being landscaped into outside seating and roses and wisteria. well, not even close as yet, but my landlady has faith. . .
