Apparently Daryl Hannah and Courtney Love were both diagnosed as borderline autistic as children, but I have no idea about the rest, and I don't really care.

Daryl Hannah, fine, but Courtney Love is a whole 'nother lever of crazy.

Daryl Hannah is the only one from that list that I know of who was diagnosed with autism.

How about Amanda Plummer
I wonder how close she is in real life to the characters she always plays...
Like Lydia in the Fisher King...the lonely..very Aspie-seeming woman the Robin Williams character is enamored with...
or her bit part in Pulp Fiction...I was always drawn to her as an actress because she seems so akward and different.

oh, you mean famous as in entertainment, I was thinking about Famous for having Asperger's Syndrome tendencies, like Emily Dickinson the poet or Hetty Green the miser heiress.

Emily Dickinson

Actress Sharon Stone was so shy as a child that they thought she was autistic.

I think it's more likely that the females listed in the original post have Borderline Personality Disorder. In fact, I've heard BPD referred to as the "artist's disorder". Those women are drama queens; Aspies tend to be more logical.

Quiet you. Some of us find this speculating an interesting topic of conversation. Don't like it, don't read it.

+1 for Courtney Love.

I think Courtney Love could have a million diagnoses dating back to childhood. But Her main one these days is opiate/etc. addiction...
